She remembered how Dallas leaned over from the

passenger seat and caressed her cheek. How she’d fearlessly

guided Quinn’s face to hers. How she’d been the one to kiss

Quinn and even though Quinn knew that Dallas hadn’t kissed

many people, if anyone before, it was perfect. It was just right.

They’d kissed and touched, exploring each other, giddy

like teenagers are with a new discovery. They were parked in

the middle of nowhere and no one was around. The kiss led to

so much more and soon they were in the backseat, where there

was more room, touching and tasting each other, discovering

each other for the first time.

Quinn had been so afraid it would change everything.

That Dallas would freak out and have all these regrets and that

would be that, but Dallas was fearless. She came out to her

parents and she’d been so proud to call Quinn her girlfriend. It

made Quinn realize that Dallas had known who she was for a

very long time. She just hadn’t said anything.

Quinn wanted to tell Dallas now that she always knew

that she was her one. Not just her first, but the one that she’d

think about and remember for the rest of her life. She knew

she should have extinguished those memories, that want, that

special spot deep inside her for Dallas a long time ago, but it

was easier to say that memories could be stamped out than to

actually do the stamping.

“Are you okay?” Dallas asked softly, and Quinn

snapped back to watching her lips move as she spoke.

“Yeah. I was just- thinking about… About before.”

Dallas tilted her head and kissed Quinn along her

jawline. “Me too,” she whispered. Dallas ran her tongue along

her lower lip and Quinn felt her thighs tingle in response. “I’ve
