was over his shock and probably thought that she was over her

little hissy fit. The second she walked into the office, she was

annoyed by how the guy was looking at her. She realized her

mistake as soon as she walked in. Jim Johnson wasn’t very

professional. Apparently he thought ogling her was better than

getting down to actual business.

It pissed her off even more that Dallas was sitting there,

saying nothing. That she looked like a regular human being.

That is, she clearly hadn’t tried to be gorgeous, but of course

she was. Quinn hadn’t expected Dallas to look like a haggy

old witch just because she acted like one. It was a real piss off.

Quinn normally didn’t have a temper. She wasn’t jealous

about what her grampy left Dallas. That it was the same

amount of money as he’d left the other grandkids. She wasn’t

angry that her grampy had a generous heart. She was angry, as

she’d said, that Dallas had done nothing to do deserve it. She

really had broken their grampy’s heart by just leaving like that.
