“If they bring the whole thing down, it will be okay. I’m

happy. This is going to be the best Christmas ever.”

“Until next year.”

“And the year after.”

“And the year after that.”

“Kind of like the tree.”

“Yup.”

“Why don’t we leave that for an hour and go upstairs?”

“For present wrapping?” Quinn asked, but then she turned

and look at Dallas. “Oh,” she whispered and giggled as her

cheeks turned pink. “Oh. Not to wrap presents.”

“I was thinking about unwrapping something, actually.”

“Hopefully it’s me and not some gift you got at work.”

“It’s definitely you.” Dallas dropped a kiss onto Quinn’s

lips.

They managed to make it all the way up the stairs and

halfway down the hallway before they finished unwrapping

each other. As Dallas led Quinn into the bedroom, she knew

that she was beyond blessed. Quinn was the best gift she could

ask for and she was lucky enough to have her every single day

of the year, not just at Christmas.
