It sounded like Quinn was just getting scared. Panicking.
Maybe together they could undo whatever crisis she was going

“I know I should have, but I just don’t see the point.
We’ll spend all this money going back and forth and we’ll
spend all this time and in the end it will all be for nothing and
we’ll just end up getting hurt.”
“That’s pretty pessimistic.”
“It might be, but I think it could also be called reality.
I’m just trying to save us a lot of pain.”
“I think that maybe you’re making assumptions. For
one, I’m not opposed to moving back to Topeka.”
“But you have this amazing job! And you have a place!
And your parents! I’d feel terrible if I forced you to leave your
family. What if you couldn’t get a good job here or you took
one and you hated it? What if you missed your family so much
that you were so homesick all the time you wished that you’d
never left?”
“Well, you’d have to give me some time to sort things
out, but I’m serous. I wouldn’t not consider it. Especially if it
means that you won’t want to break up.”
“See! That’s exactly what I mean. I don’t want you to
say things like that because then you’ll act on it and you’ll end
up resenting me.”
“That doesn’t even make sense!” Danica yelled again.
“Will you stop that!” Quinn yelled back at her sister.
“She’s the one who made me call you while she was still in the
car with me,” Quinn informed Dallas.
“Yeah, because I wanted to see what crazy nonsense
