you. It might not have been entirely my choice to leave last
time, but it is this time and my parents have nothing to do
with it. I don’t want you to think badly of them. They
might have made some mistakes, but this one was all on
me.

We need to talk. I do have a flight to catch, but I’m
not leaving like last time. I’m not going to abandon you. I

don’t have much time left here and I don’t want to waste

will. Maybe we were never meant to happen again, but it
did, and I don’t think it was a mistake. We might live in
different cities, but if we want the same thing, can’t we

Quinn’s hand shook. She realized that Danica was
leaning in, reading the texts too. Quinn didn’t stop her or angle
her phone away. Danica might as well read them. She knew
everything else.

out there with your friends. It’s your birthday. You shouldn’t
