Aiden

Ipull up in the parking lot of D’Agostinos Inc. and make my way up the steps leading into the building with my dick still hard and the taste of the angel still in my mouth.

I was so lost in her taste and her, I don’t know how the fuck I even managed to hear my phone ring and answer it.

What made me do it is the stronger need to find my son. I’m always on high alert, waiting for a call or something to give me hope and keep me going.

After speaking to Gibbs earlier, I expected Dominic’s call. I didn’t know, though, I was going to get it so soon and when he sounded more optimistic than Gibbs, I knew I had to see him straightaway. He told me to meet him at work and I hope he wasn’t working late because of me. He has a wife and a baby on the way to go home to.

Nevertheless, I can’t deny I’m grateful, or eager to speak to him. The two of us putting our heads together have come up with all sorts of things in the past.

I’m hoping tonight will be like that and maybe we’ll be able to use what Gibbs sent to get something more concrete to work with.

Everything we’ve found so far, has been a result ofme and Dominic combining our technical skills.

Dominic found the first medical report in Alfonse’s files, and I led us to the rest when I discovered them in the same encrypted as fuck code that hid all the dark secrets from the past, including some of the people Alfonse had worked for.

While Dominic went to MIT, I learned my shit during my two year stay in prison. Right in Ognenny Ostrov, a prison for the condemned and those serving life sentences. I owe it to my father that I’m no longer neither, or I’d still be there rotting away in my cell.

At Ognenny they called those files ghost files. It’s a file literally ghosting over another and you can’t see it unless you know what you’re looking for. It’s the type of shit spies use to conceal information and pass to governments or whoever they are working for.

Dominic and I have been searching through those files for over a year.

Finding the encrypted ghost files also helped us set up a localized tracking system when we realized it was how the Order communicated with people working for them and covered their tracks.

That’s how we’ve been finding leads.

When the code pops on our system we move in and try to get the intel we want. That code is the only way to know those we’re going after are working for the Order.

I try to steady my mind as I walk through the revolving glass entrance doors and see one of the many security guards who patrol the premises at this hour.Knowing who I am, the guard dips his head for a respectful nod, and I do the same.

The D’Agostinos built an oil and gas company that’s not as old as Romanov Logistics, but became a multi-billion-dollar company very quickly after their father set up the business. Today it’s renowned worldwide by those who live the vanilla life but also by guys like me who know it for being the headquarters of the new Syndicate where some of the most dangerous men on this side of the planet gather once a month to discuss their next criminal activities.

I step into the elevator and go up to Dominic’s office which is near the top floor.

When I get out, I make my way down the winding corridor and the tension lifts slightly from my shoulders when I look through his opened door and see him sitting behind his desk.

He straightens when he sees me and offers a friendly smile.

“Hello old friend,” he says.

“Hey.” I walk in and close the door. “Working late?”

“Always the way man. Come take a look at what Gibbs found. I really think it’s something that will give us a new direction.”

That sounds promising.

“What did he find?”

He lays out a set of documents. “Gibbs found records on Pearson from three years ago.It seemshis medical license was going to be revoked for drug misuse.”

“Drug misuse?” I raise my brows.

“Yeah. He was given the choice to retire from practice early or go through a formal hearing. He chose to retire and go to rehab. Then there’s nothing more on him after that which is obviously why we can’t find him. But Gibbs sent over details on the drugs he was misusing. It turns out Pearson was making a concoction of ecstasy, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and LSD. He was selling it to patients under wraps. It was his own special blend.”

“Jesus Christ. That could fucking kill you.” I was hooked on heroin and crack. That was bad. A mixture of shit like Dominic is talking about is deadly.
