Jacob sighed. “You think if he didn’t have to see my face, I could at least get some ass action from him?”
I burst into laughter, unable to answer him since I was laughing so hard. Jacob grinned at me and pulled me down onto one of the bleachers.
My eyes instantly found Seth as he rushed across the field, heading for the makeshift touchdown line the guys had made since most of the field was being used up by other people.
“I can see why you fell for him,” Jacob commented. “Honestly though, girl, you should have known he was a dick from the start.”
I frowned. “I know,” I whispered.
But all I had wanted to do was help him.
Yet I had known from the beginning that nothing good was going to come out of me and Seth. I had known from the very beginning that this shit between me and Seth would end catastrophically.
And it had.
Now, I was stuck with a baby and a broken heart.
And I had a feeling it was going to absolutely destroy me.
