“Don’t worry about that, Thorn, I got you,” I tell him.
“You’ve done a lot for us, Kingston. I don’t want you to feel like I’m taking advantage of you,” he says. He’s so much like his sister, it makes me smile.
“You’re not. Just so you know, you and Briar are coming to New York with me after Caleb’s fight. I want you both there,” I inform him.
“I get to go?” he asks, sounding surprised.
“Yeah, all the boys from the gym, and Hayes. And of course, Briar,” I say with a grin, because it’s obvious how I feel about her.
“Thank you, King, thank you so much. I finally get to see Kingston Storm fight,” he pumps his fist in the air and I laugh.
“Hopefully, I’ll win,” I chuckle, although I have a good feeling I will. I know I’ll beat Caleb, I trained him, but I’m more experienced.
“You will,” he says with conviction.
I hear a knock at the door and I leave him to turn on something to watch while I go get the food.
As soon as I shut the door, Briar steps into the living room, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes the same way Thorn did, a family trait and I smile.
“Hey sweetheart, here’s your mint chocolate latte,” I hand her a cup with her favorite coffee.
She narrows her eyes at me, “They don’t serve that in room service.”
“I know. I asked them to go get one for you because it’s your favorite.”
“It is but you didn’t have to do that, the kitchen crew has other guests to serve,” she scolds and then gives me a quick hug before flopping down on the couch.
“What time are we meeting your sisters?” she asks, stealing the remote from Thorn.
“I think noon. We have a couple of hours to eat and get ready,” I reply as I lay out the plates of food so they can pick and choose, most of the time Briar picks off my plate.
“Okay,” she takes a piece of bacon and nibbles on it.
“I picked out a wedding gift for Dasher and Noelle. We will go to their wedding first and then my mom’s,” I tell her and she nods.
“I’m happy for them,” she says. When this is all over I hope that she and Noelle can become better friends since Briar doesn’t have anyone and my sisters don’t live here. Briar has helped Dasher with his plan to get Noelle back which I guess worked.
“Me too,” I say as I take her bacon from her and she glares at me and then laughs.
She’s quiet for a minute before she stands and stretches, “I’m going to take a bath.”
“I’m going to the gym to run on the treadmill for a bit,” Thorn says as he bounds out of the room, giving us some free time together.
I chase after Briar, stripping out of my clothes along the way. I won’t pass up an opportunity to feel her naked body against mine, I can’t get enough of her. She’s filling up the tub and settling in as I slip in behind her. She leans her head back on my shoulder and I kiss her neck.
“I know what you’re trying to do,” she chuckles and squirms, almost making me groan.
“Oh, you do, sweetheart?” I snort.
She twists to the side and grabs my cock in her tiny hands causing me to suck in a breath.
“See, I do, but can he wait until later? I just want to just enjoy this with you, relaxing in your arms,” she strokes for a few seconds and then leans back against me again.
“Of course, I enjoy this, just being with you,” I kiss her shoulder and she sighs.
We relax in the tub until the water goes cold and I lean over her and let the drain up. I kiss her neck and then help her out of the tub, engulfing her in a fluffy towel. While I love sinking my cock into her wet heat, I love relaxing with her just as much.
I go to my suitcase and pull out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, while she rifles through her bag for something to wear. I dress quickly and then make a note to go by her apartment and the house to grab more clothes, but then I think about Lane and what he’s up to and how he keeps slipping through the cops’ fingers and I say fuck it, I’ll just buy us more clothes.
