“I’m starving,” he whines.
I chuckle, “You act like you’re never fed.”
“Not enough,” he winks.
“Does King need any gear from the gym?” I ask him.
“I can pick it up and meet you at the airport,” he says.
“Good,” I pour another cup of coffee and we go sit on the patio.
We sit in silence and then I start to smile, a thought forming in my head. And oh it’s better than the pans. I feel like we need some fun right now.
“I see that smile. What?”
“I just had an evil plan,” I smirk.
“I’m in.” He doesn’t even question me, or what it is, he’s all in.
I call Daniel and put in an odd request but he complies. Within minutes, I have two super soakers in my hand as well as breakfast on the table.
We fill them and hit Thorn and Remo first. Remo has a room downstairs from us but fell asleep on the couch.
“What the hell?” We go laughing down the hallway to get the third man.
Kingston
“What the hell?” I yell as water rains down on me.
“Morning, wake up call,” Tristan exclaims as Briar giggles.
I sit up and bed to see them grinning from ear to ear and I glare.
“You better run,” I shout and they take off, I can hear them laughing all the way down the hall.
That woman is going to be the death of me, her and her wake up calls. I shake my head and roll out of bed. I smile to myself, I’m glad she’s feeling better.
I shower and dress before joining them at breakfast.
“I was rudely awakened,” I tease her, but she makes up for it with a kiss and a plate of food.
“Morning, handsome,” she grins.
“Yeah, yeah,” and then I see Remo and Thorn’s faces.
“You guys, too?”
“Yeah,” Thorn grumbles and I snort. She’s really feeling better.
She’s lucky I love her. Okay, that’s not true, I’m lucky she loves me.
While everyone finishes up and then goes to pack, I make a note to pack extra for Remo, I make a call to Aiden.
“Kingston, good to hear from you,” he greets me.
“Same,” I reply.
“I’m looking forward to seeing you in New York,” he says.
