“Man,” I started, shaking my head. “We’ll all be Meara’s harem.”

Damien chuckled on his end, but there was an edge to it. I could see he was just about as enamored of the idea of sharing with Kent as I was. We would definitely have to talk about that.

“I texted Kent and asked him to come over,” Damien said. “But he didn’t respond.”

“Why are you inviting him over and not me?” I demanded.

“Not for sex,” Damien clarified. “I just thought it would be easier to break the news to him if Meara and I did it together and in person.”

“Maybe I want you to do me together and in person.”

“Is this crazy?” Damien asked.

“Definitely.”

“Should I put on the brakes?”

“What are you, nuts?” I sat up, hoping that he wouldn’t make that mistake. “I’m all in, bro. This is the best thing I’ve heard in a long time. I can’t wait to get her between us.”

“It’s more than just sex,” he cautioned.

“I get it,” I replied. “But it’s also sex. And I’m ready to go anytime.”

“Okay.” Damien sounded much more upbeat. “Will you text Kent and ask him to respond to me?”

“Definitely. If my man isn’t in, he’s a loser.”

“Can we really share Meara between us and still keep our partnership going?” Damien asked.

“I don’t see why not,” I argued. “It’ll be good for business. It’ll bring us all closer and give us some downtime between clients.”

“Maybe we should keep it out of the office,” he hesitated.

“I won’t tell if you don’t,” I said.

Hanging up the phone, I couldn’t believe my luck. Here I had been trying to get over her when what she really wanted was all three of us together. I knew there was something about her that was better than average. I was nearly salivating over the thought, and I had to take care of myself quickly before I exploded.

I jerked off two more times that night just thinking about it. I knew Damien was all about the emotional touchy-feely stuff, and that was great. I liked Meara, and I didn’t want to do anything that would upset her. But if I had to be honest, it was more about sex for me. Damien was my best friend, and Meara was the sweetest person I had ever met. If only Kent wasn’t involved, it would be perfect.

I decided I could live with the added flavor if it meant having a taste of heaven. Kent wasn’t all that bad. Maybe he would grow on us. Meara must know what she was doing; after all, her sister was involved with three guys. I reasoned that it ran in the family. Not only was she willing to experiment, but she probably knew exactly how to arrange us all for maximum pleasure.

Monday morning, I couldn’t wait to get into the office. I was early, but so was everyone else. Arriving at six-thirty instead of seven, I knew I had two and a half hours before the receptionist clocked in. I considered calling her to say that the office was being fumigated. That would net us a little privacy, and we could cancel all the clients to boot. Why should we even pretend to do any work that day when there was something infinitely more important happening?

I could see a light on in Damien’s office, and I went to investigate. He was on the phone, and I couldn’t imagine who he was talking to at that early hour. Kent still wasn’t in, and it turned out that there was no reason I had to show up so soon. Nothing was happening.

Meara was there, but when I poked my head into the cubicle farm, Sam was sitting right next to her. I couldn’t very well make up an excuse to get rid of the other intern. She would definitely be suspicious if she wasn’t already.

Meara and I made eye contact, and she gave me a slow smile that said everything I needed to know. I went back to my office and tried to wait it out, but every minute was torture. Finally at around seven, I got a message over the project management software. There were snacks in the conference room.

I wondered if “snacks” was code for anything, and I wasted no time going to investigate. My suspicions were correct and incorrect at the same time. There were literal snacks. Meara stood beside the conference table, a pink box of donuts open beside her.

Sam passed me in the doorway, a pastry in her hand. She winked at me, making me wonder how much she knew. And just like that, I was alone with Meara. I walked over to her, giving her an up and down look usually reserved for women in clubs.

She wore a plain yellow dress, simple and adorable and easy to pull up if anyone had a mind to. And I definitely had a mind to. She watched me come, her eyes smoking. I ignored the donuts and went straight for the main course. Sliding a hand behind her back, I pulled her close. This time when I settled my lips on hers, there was no hesitation. I knew that she wanted me, and she knew I wanted her in return.

Sam was the only one currently in the office who wasn’t in on the game, and since she had just left, Meara and I were free to take our time. She tasted like coffee creamer, the silky kind that warms your soul with every sip. I swept my tongue across hers, excited by what lay ahead.

She floated her arms up to circle my neck, stretching her chest against mine. Those tight little breasts poked out at me from beneath her bra, driving me crazy. I wished they had let me come over last night so that I could do away with all her clothing. I knew Damien didn’t want us to screw in the office, but come on! You couldn’t dangle something so tantalizing in front of a guy and then expect him to wait.

I slid my hand down to cup her ass. It felt just as tight as I’d expected, and the confirmation only added more fuel to the fire. I was well on my way to brand new heights when the door opened. Reluctantly, I released her. If it was Damien, I was determined to pick right back up where I’d left off. But instead, it was Kent.

He frowned, looking like he had just walked in on something distasteful. He was about to turn around and leave when Meara left me hanging. She crossed the room and took Kent by the hand. He looked baffled as she led him deeper into the conference room. Without sparing a moment for conversation, she stuffed her hands into his back pockets and kissed him.

I watched as Kent fumbled for his balance. One moment, he was steaming all on his own, and the next, he was caught up in the wildfire that was our shared intern. I thought I would feel jealousy or even revulsion, but the sight of Meara kissing Kent only made me want her more. I could just imagine sandwiching her between myself and another man, and whether it was Damien or Kent made no difference.

At that moment, I itched to come up behind her, pull her little dress up, and fill my hands with her beautiful butt cheeks. The timing wasn’t right, though. If it was Damien, I could have sealed the deal right then. I would have locked the door so that no one could walk in and gotten down to business right on the conference table.

But it was Kent, and he didn’t know what was going on. I could tell that he was excited to find himself the recipient of Meara’s affection. He reached around to stroke her spine, his fingers racing up and down from her waist to her shoulder blades. I couldn’t bring myself to interrupt him just then. So, I sat back to watch, helping myself to a donut.
