BEAU

True to his word, when I took the takings to Bernie, he’d hardly taken the till drawer from my hands before he was pushing me to my knees, taking out his rancid-smelling dick. I gagged at the stench, the urge to vomit forcing me to turn away.

“Don’t you fucking dare, boy. You’ve got a lot to make up for after the last time. Now get back here and give me a good sucking.”

I held my breath and wrapped my lips around his crusty, foul dick and gagged, almost spilling my guts on the floor. Why was I doing this? Why did I keep doing this? I had to stop. I was no better than Megan, letting him take from me time and time again, all because he said he had footage of her selling drugs and worse, herself. I’d sworn I’d look after her, and I would, but this, this had to stop.

But first, I had to get him off so I could go home and scrub my teeth and gums until they bled and drink enough mouthwash to get the taste out of my mouth.

A few minutes later and I’d accomplished my task, moving out of the way so his cum dripped onto the floor. Swallowing was something I rarely did, and he knew that, but he complained every time.

“Damn, Beau. You’re good at that, but I wish you’d take it all down. Taste how good it is.”

Good? If it tasted anything like it smelled, it’d be bitter, just like him. I climbed to my feet, looking for anything to wipe my mouth and hands with, finding a dirty towel lying on the sofa. It’d have to do until I got home.

“Oh, and Beau? I need you to work tomorrow night. Kenny says he has something on and can’t. Be here before eight, ready to set up, and maybe we can have another session later.” He snatched the towel from my hand and wiped himself down.

This had to stop. I couldn’t face doing that again, not one more time, nor was I prepared to bend over for him. I’d rather die than keep giving myself to him.

I had to make a stand.

“I can’t. I already have plans.” He gripped my wrist, twisting it in his fat, grubby hands.

“What did you say, boy?” I wrenched it from his grasp, rubbing it, a red mark starting to form on my skin.

I took a step closer to the door. “I said no. I’m already going out. It’s Saturday night, and I made plans. I wasn’t on the rota to work.”

He glowered at me, and I could see his mind working, wondering what he was going to come up with next. He threw the towel back onto the sofa, before fastening his trousers and moving to sit behind his shabby desk. The veneer was peeling off; it was that old. I knew this from having been sprawled across it more than once.

“Fine, but I want you back in here on Sunday. Do you hear me? I’m eager to take that arse of yours again, and this time, beautiful Beau, I will finish.”

I nodded in response, not having actual words to say to him. I opened the door and stepped out into the corridor, giving a huge sigh of relief. It could have been so much worse, but tonight, I’d got off lightly and at least I had tomorrow off.

Remembering Kwan and his invitation, I took the slip of paper out of my back pocket and looked at the mobile number written on it. Why did he give it to me? It wasn’t like he had mine and could call me. I didn’t even know the guy.

But there was just something about him. His smile, how graceful he was when he danced, the depth in his brown eyes. Where did he say they were playing tomorrow night? Level?

Should I go? I walked into the staff room, gathering my belongings. It was late again, and I thought I was on my own, but a noise off to the side had me tilting my head to listen. Was that? No, it couldn’t be. Sounded like someone was having a good time, and I didn’t think they were on their own.

I coughed loudly, and the noise stopped, furious whispers coming from behind the lockers. A very sheepish Kenny walked from behind them, trying desperately to do up his trousers.

“Having fun there, Kenny?” I laughed at his discomfort. “Anyone I know behind there with you?”

An equally sheepish Ty appeared, his ears tinged red. It was the most uncomfortable I’d ever seen him, especially when Kenny took his hand, swinging it between them.

I wasn’t one to judge, never would.

“How long?”

“Couple of weeks, maybe? You know when I got beat up?”

I nodded. I remembered. Kenny had been set upon by a group of rowdy bastards in the club. Something to do with being short-changed. He wasn’t badly hurt, shaken mostly, but he’d had a nasty cut on his head, and now I thought back, I remembered Ty barrelling towards them, throwing his weight and some bodies around to get to Kenny.

I should have seen it then. It’d been right there in front of my face. I just hadn’t been looking, not closely anyway.

“You won’t say anything, will you? You know, to Bernie?” For as big as he was, Ty stood behind Kenny, letting him do the talking.

“I won’t say a word. Don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me.”
