“Somebody exhausted me last night. An amazing orgasm will do that to a girl.”

“Well, glad I could be of service.”

I smile up at him and kiss the side of his cheek.

He pinches my ass as I leave the bed.

“You know, I could get used to this,” he shouts as I close the door.

I can’t stop smiling while I make myself look somewhat human. As I come out of the bathroom, still as naked as the day I was born, Adrien’s eyes are still on the bathroom door. He moves to sit on the edge of the bed and indicates he wants me to go to him.

“You look fucking gorgeous.”

“Thanks,” I smile. Loving the ego-boost.

He pulls me between his legs and rubs his hand up my back. It's almost soothing.

“I meant what I said last night.” he seems vulnerable, and it's not a look he has often, but it’s sexy as all hell.

“What did you say?”

“Sara, can we try to make another go of it?”

My whole body tenses up. It’s what I’ve wanted to hear for five years.

He continues to rub up and down my back.

Then, like a light going off in my mind, I relax. Why am I pretending like this is not something I want? He knows it, and I know it. I smile and kiss his forehead.

“I like the sound of that.” I push him back onto the bed.
