“Basil is the leader; do you think Sean would ever step down?” Tal asks. “We all know how money driven and how completely obsessed with the gang Sean was. There is no way that he would step down from being their leader.”
“It was just leaked that a woman under him stole from him and could potentially get him into jail with the evidence that she had. The gang might have safeguarded him by having Sean’s second taking his place temporarily in public, but Sean is still pulling the strings,” Garth explains. “I mean, don’t you guys find it strange that they had nearly all the gang members out for months looking for one woman?”
“Shit, if you are right, he is mine!” His words make sense, but we don’t have any evidence that it could be true. I will not let someone who did the things he did to my mate live. I know that there must be more, but she hasn’t spoken about it, and even though I think it would be good for her to talk about it, I don’t think I can hear it, or I will fucking lose my shit.
“For now, we follow through with our plan, get into pairs, and choose your areas. I want us to attack tonight.” Tor stands still looking around at us. “We will destroy them before they get anything else of ours.” His eyes then turn to me, and he inclines his head towards the door. “Tomorrow, we will start looking to see if that son of a bitch is still alive or not.”
“Dag, you want to get that little place they have down by that hot dog stand?” Tal asks from next to me.
“Yeah, why not?” I state. That place is on the other side of the city, but at night, there isn’t much traffic in the area except for cars that pull up to go and get their fix. I’m happy to close down and destroy as many drug holes as I can.
Even though we’re not in the drug business, we are into the gun business, which in its own way, also kills and destroys lives. But the devastation that I have seen because of drugs pleases me to get as much of the product off the streets as I can.
This war will get worse before it gets better, but victory will be ours. We can’t let it be any other way, as it is our women and our existence that is on the line.
