His threat against Dag makes me still. This motherfucker thinks he can threaten one of us and we will take it without any retaliation.
“I’m afraid that won’t be possible,” Tor says in a friendly tone, but everyone can hear the underlying danger in his voice.
Sean scowls at Tor’s statement, his face flushing in anger.
“You see, Sean, now you spiked our curiosity, and all of my men will now be out looking for her.”
“This has nothing to do with you!” Sean grunts in anger.
“I’m afraid it does. The minute you decided to shoot one of my men, endangering two of our women, it became all of our business,” Tor states.
“You are willing to go to war for a woman you don’t even know?” Sean growls.
“No, but I’m willing to go to war for my man, which you ordered to be shot, and the two women which lives were endangered at the time of the shooting.”
“This is crazy, Tor, he was warned.”
Tor shrugs at Sean’s statement.
“If we find any of your men snooping around my woman, we will have to stop them.”
“You do what you think you should, but be warned that the next time any of your men engages one of mine, they will be dead.” With that statement Tor leans forward and starts his bike. The roar of his Harley is followed by all our others. Garth and Ulrich pull away in the SUV, then the rest of us follow. The warning has been given, it is now open season and if we come across any of the Desperados, they will be dead. We make our way out of the Desperado’s area and back towards the club. From now on, we need to be careful where and how we go out.
The Elementals Cape Town Chapter has declared war with the Desperados. We will be riding in a group from now on, and we will be armed, because even though we could disperse any of them without any weapons, we try not to use our gifts in public. If we do, we make sure that there are no witnesses left behind that can retell what they saw.
Parking the bikes outside our club, most of the men start making their way inside before Tor stops them. “Church in ten,” he grunts as he strides inside as if a war wasn’t just declared between the club and a Cape Town gang. Fuck, I was hoping to go and talk to Freya because I want to make sure that she’s okay after what she witnessed today.
Flexing my shoulders, I make my way inside and towards the meeting room. I will go to Freya as soon as the meeting is over. I can sense that she is okay, therefore, there is no hurry to rush to her side.
We all start taking our seats around the table, as soon as all the men are in, the door is closed, and Tor sits back in his chair with a watchful look in his eyes as he gazes around the table at all of us before talking. “We haven’t been at war for a while now, not since most of the Keres were captured. Most of us have grown lax with the peace, but today we are at war again, and not just any war, but a war with one of Cape Town’s most dangerous gangs. From now on, we have eyes everywhere. I want to know what they are doing at all times,” Tor states in anger. “If they take a pee, I want to know about it.” Motherfuckers, because of them I’m going to spend minimal time with Freya.
“Dag, how are you?” Tor asks.
“I’ve been better, but it’s only a scratch. The fuckers can’t even get killing someone right,” he states.
“Don’t be cocky. You could have been killed if you were by yourself,” Tor reminds him with a scowl.
“Those fuckers couldn’t hit an elephant if it was in front of them,” Dag encourages with a grin.
“Not all of them are like that,” Asgar says as he sits forward, placing his folded hands before him on the table. “Some men are actually decent shots. I know some of them practice quite often at a plot that Sean owns just out of Cape Town.”
“From this point forward, you are all to go out in groups. There are no exceptions.” There are a few grunts of annoyance, but no one contradicts Tor’s orders. We all know when there is a war, we all need to keep our wits about us and draw together because only if we move as one will we conquer our enemies. We have been together for centuries; we know how to fight in unison like a well-oiled machine.
“We need to find Dag’s woman fast because they will leave no stone unturned, and we want to get to her before they do.”
“Fuckers,” Dag snaps in anger. “I swear they are fucking leeches, because every time I turn around there is one of those assholes following me.”
“Do you think they will get the other gangs involved in this war?” Garth asks.
“They might, so be prepared if you see anyone that is part of a gang,” Tor instructs us.
“Are you going to inform Draco that we are at war with the Desperados gang?” Colborn asks, which has Tor tense and scowl as we all know that Draco is not going to be happy about the Elementals being at war again.
“Eventually,” Tor grumbles, which has me grinning in amusement when I think of that conversation. Draco, the Elementals MC National President, is not someone that likes to be disobeyed. When it comes to our Chapter, it looks like we can’t help ourselves because we always seem to do something that contradicts what the main chapter states.
“Ulrich, you and Dane need to keep track of your women from now until this war is finished, we are on lockdown,” Tor informs us.
“Fuck, Anastasia is going to freak,” Ulrich mumbles which have some of the others grin in amusement at his grumbling, but I understand where he’s coming from as I doubt that Freya is going to love the idea of not being able to get out of the club for a while.
