“He’s lying, look at him” the other guy that went to help Tim says from besides Tim.
“Come on boys, this is just a misunderstanding,” Colton, the Panheads president says as he comes to join us.
“I’m afraid that we are going to have to take him in, the gentleman over there has laid a complaint against this man and I’m afraid we can’t ignore that,” the cop says.
“You laid a complaint against Ulrich?” Tor asks from next to me, the rage vibrating in his voice which has the two men that are still standing in the doorway retreat a couple of steps back.
“I’m not fucking going in,” I mutter, ready to lay anyone out that tries.
“Don’t make us arrest you, sir,” the other cop that is standing slightly behind the one the first spoke says. I can see by the way his eyes are moving around the room that he is scared that someone is going to come at them and at the moment I am tempted.
I will not be arrested; I can’t stay away from my mate for longer than a couple of days before we start to miss each other’s presence physically. “Tim, drop the fucking charges,” Garth says from next to me, but I see Tim raise his hand showing us the finger which has Tor growl low in his throat.
“Come on son, let’s not make this any worse than it is,” the first police officer says as he looks at me.
“I’m not your fucking son.” My whole body is tensed, my rage ready to erupt at the first sign of them trying to touch me.
“Ulrich, go with them we will be right behind you. I’m sure you won’t be there long,” Asger says from where he is standing behind Tim and his friend in the doorway. I know that they are going to intimidate Tim to drop the charges, that is, if Tor doesn’t kill him first. I am holding onto my rage by a thread, at any other time I would fight my way out of this mess but now I have Anastasia and I will not do anything that will hurt her in the long run, and me being away from her will hurt her.
I grunt as I take a step towards the cop, looking over at Tor, “I can’t stay in there long.” I can tell by his tense jaw that he is holding his temper, but by the vibration in the energy that temper is going to explode soon. His eyes don’t deviate from the cops, but he nods, which has me walking past the cops towards the door. I swear if Tim doesn’t get out of my fucking way, I will lay him flat and then they will have a real reason to keep me in.
He must have sensed his predicament because by the time I got to the door with the cops one on each side of me and the other men close behind them which clearly has them uneasy, he is gone from my path. I know that the others will get me out, but will they get me out in time?
