You’d have thought I’d just sucked the cum right out of him. He curses, gripping my hair to the point I think I’ll have a bald patch, and holds still as he shoots cum down my throat.
I focus as I swallow it down, the lack of oxygen making me feel lightheaded. It only heightens everything Vega is doing to me.
One brutal thrust later, and Vega comes too. Blink pulls free, and all the blood rushes to my head.
I come, and I come hard.
I don’t know if I scream or if I’m silent. I’m not sure of anything beyond the pulsing pleasure that moves through my body with the force of a tsunami.
When my brain comes back online, I’m sprawled over Blink’s chest.
I look up at him, not sure what to say. Now that the heat of the moment has passed, I feel…conflicted. It’s not that I regret it. I don’t. But the fear that this could all explode in our faces is terrifying.
“I don’t like that expression on your face, Mal,” Blink tells me, looking concerned.
I roll off him and climb to my feet, my legs feeling shaky as hell. I find my clothes and slip them back on, ignoring Vega and Blink, who are watching me warily. I need a second to get my thoughts in order. Doing it while naked is not going to happen when I already feel vulnerable and exposed.
“Mal, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have—”
I cut Vega off with my hand and blow out a deep breath. I need to get my shit together, or I’ll be the one to ruin it all before we’ve begun.
“You didn’t do anything wrong. I just got a little emotionally overloaded.”
“So why do I feel like you’re over there building a wall around yourself, and there is nothing I can do but watch you erect it brick by brick?”
I close my eyes and grip my fists, trying to center myself. I open my eyes again and focus on his worried face.
“I’m scared. That was amazing. But the more you both give, reminds me that there is more for me to lose.”
He hesitates for a minute. His eyes narrow, and he stomps over to me, wrapping his arms around me and holding me tight to his chest.
I hear Blink move and then feel him pressed against my back. Their collective heat calms me in seconds.
“Never, and I mean never, do you have to worry about losing us. We know all too well what that feels like, Duchess. And let me tell you, it was fucking hell. You think we don’t know the gift we’ve been given here?” Vega asks.
“He’s right, Mal. I know you’re conflicted right now and scared. But newsflash, so are we. I’m not saying you don’t have valid concerns, but put yourself in our shoes. We’ve always been here. We’ve been waiting this whole time for you to come home. We never left you, Mal. It was you who left us.”
I turn my head to look at Blink and apologize, but he silences me with a soft kiss.
“That wasn’t me judging you. I know you had your reasons to go, but you also had your reasons to come back. Sure, some of them might have to do with this job you’re working, but you didn’t have to come here. You could have walked into any gym up and down the West Coast, and they’d have taken you in with open arms. Your name holds more power than you know. But you decided to come back here, to where it all began, to us. If you think we’ll let you walk away from us again, you are out of your damn mind.”
