I don’t care how much of a sweaty mess we both are right now. I’ve never been more satisfied, felt more seductive or so complete. He leans down and kisses my chest, and I just smile at him. That small movement, the sweetness of it, has me wanting to wrap my body around him and purr.

After lying like that for who knows how long, I feel slightly dazed, punch-drunk, possibly euphoric. All I know is that’snotsomething you never do again. I already want more.

He lifts his head and stares at me as I lie motionless in his arms. The only movement I can spare is my mind starting to think about how we can do that again. My words come out before I can filter any of them. “All of that was so good.”

He smiles at me. “How have we not done this until now?”

“We’re both stubborn, but this thing between us…” It’s almost too naive to say out loud, but I shake the vulnerable thoughts away. “Now that I know what it feels like to be with you like this”—I smile, thinking about it again—“I’m not ready to stop.” I’m not going to play coy. That was phenomenal, life-altering, and we both know it.

He leans up, and the weight of him draped on my chest falls away. I already miss it.

We look at each other and it confirms that whatever it is we’re feeling, it can’t be ignored. He rubs his thumb over my lips and continues a path down my chin to the curve of my neck and over my collarbone before he stands up, fully naked. The sex appeal of this man's body is incredible, and I can’t help but stare and appreciate every contour.

“You’re looking at me like you’re ready for another round, Miss Riggs. And I’m ready to serve you, beautiful. So, I’m going to grab us some water. You’re going to rest for a few minutes and then we’re doing that again. Only this time, we don’t stop until you’re screaming. That last orgasm was far too quiet.”

Oh, thank God!
