Emma
Cooking is my favorite thing to do. Four years ago, I decided to become a vegan. Not only is it good for your health but I passionately believe you save the planet by going vegan. However, I’m not that strict with myself. If I need to bite into a juicy hamburger or have a glass of milk, I go ahead and do so.
The big challenge for becoming a vegan is learning how to cook without meat, dairy, and eggs. Tonight’s meal is an example: vegan chili. I make a great bowl of chili without any meat.
Tonight, I’m feeding two well-built fire fighters. Will they like my vegan chili? I’m sure they are used to a lot of red meat in their diet. I’m going to teach them how to eat healthier because I love them.
As I set the table and ladle the chili into a serving bowl, I realize that I’ve never gone to all this trouble for anyone. I am definitely in love, and this puts me into a care and nurture mode of doing things.
All I want to do is shower both men in with my love. Tonight, I am going to declare my love for the both of them. I am going to make it clear that we are a great threesome and I’m not going to break up a good thing.
The doorbell rings and I go to answer it. There are my men. I feel such a tingle all over my body. We all kiss hello and I lead them to the table. Luke brings a beer that he knows will go well with dinner and Isaac brings flowers.
I tell them how sweet they are, and we all sit down to eat. Turns out they make a vegan chili at the firehouse. They dig into mine and rave about its deliciousness. I am thrilled.
When we finish eating, I invite them to sit down in the living room while I collect the dinner plates. Isaac insists on helping me and we get it done quickly. I take three beers from the fridge and take them to the living room. I give them to Luke and Isaac. The both of them open their beers and take a swig.
“Are we going to watch a movie?” Luke asks.
“No, not right away. I have something to tell you guys.”
“Is something wrong?” Luke panics.
“No, quite the opposite.”
“Well, that’s a relief,” Isaac says.
I kneel down on the floor in front of my brand-new sofa and put my hands on each one of the guy’s thighs. They smile at me.
“I just want to tell you that I love both of you very much and I want the both of you in my life. I think we make an excellent threesome so I’m not going to choose between you guys.”
“Well, that’s a relief,” Luke says.
“Are you kidding me Luke? Did you forget that Emma is the chief’s daughter and that we are trying to be promoted to captain?”
“So? I think that when the chief sees how important Emma is to us and how much we love her, he will not only come to understand but he will be impressed.”
“What planet do you come from? Idiot, didn’t you see him blow a gasket when he saw us with Emma?”
Luke goes quiet and I can tell what Isaac is telling him has an effect.
“I guess you’re right Isaac,” Luke sighs.
We all go quiet for a few minutes. I stand up and go sit in my recliner. My spirits have really gone down. Did I even have a chance with these career obsessed guys?
“My father loves me, and he doesn’t want to lose that love. He will come around,” I assure Isaac and Luke.
“I don’t think so Emma. The chief has tough standards for his company,” Isaac says.
Luke gets up and comes to me.
“I believe what Emma is saying. Not only that but the chief is a fair man. I know he can separate his personal feelings for the sake of his fire fighters. He wants to have the best team out there.”
“I tell you again, did you see the way he looked at us when he walked in on the three of us making out?”
“Sure, but he will change his mind.”
“Look, it would be hard enough if one of us was with Emma, but we are a threesome and that is probably way beyond the chief's understanding. Hell, it’s hard for me to understand,” Isaac says.
