Emma
The music is so loud, it is giving me a headache, but I go on dancing. I do a swivel and turn to face the audience. As I am dancing, I scan the audience so that I can see who is here tonight.
My heart jumps into my throat when I see both Isaac and Luke in the back of the room. I want to run off the stage after seeing them, but I can’t stop dancing. What am I going to do?
Isaac and Luke might tell my father that they saw me stripping. My father thinks I am working at the Oak Café. I take a deep breath and let the breath out slowly.
I do the twirl that is part of my routine. Then it hits me, I might have a way out of this. If Isaac and Luke tell my dad that they saw me at a strip club, they will be revealing that they hang out at inappropriate places.
That won’t be good for a firefighter looking for a promotion. My dad would certainly lose respect for them. I hope that they are smart enough to just keep their mouths shut and not say anything.
After going down into the crowd and teasing both of the boys a bit, I finish my dance and go to the edge of the stage to collect my tips. I pick up my money and rush off the stage. I wonder what Luke and Isaac think of me.
Back in the dressing room, I take off my stripping gear. I decide to go back out into the audience to talk to Isaac and Luke. I put on my sexy short skirt and skimpy tank top and leave the dressing room.
Where are Isaac and Luke? Maybe they are so disgusted, they have left. Before I can turn back and run, I see Luke and Isaac at the bar. They don’t look too happy to see me.
“Hi guys,” I manage to say.
Both guys just shrug.
“What’s the problem?” I ask.
“Well, we aren’t thrilled that you are seeing us both at the same time,” says Luke.
“So that’s the reason for your grumpy faces,” I say.
“What did you think we are upset about?” Isaac says.
“I thought you were upset to find out that I’m a stripper.”
Both guys shrug and shake their heads.
“Being a stripper is just a way to make a living,” says Luke.
“We can’t pass judgement on you,” Isaac says.
“But what really bugs us is that you are going out and having sex with the both of us,” Luke says.
“I never said that I would be exclusive to either one of you.”
“We never thought you would see us both at the same time,” Luke says.
“What are you implying about me?”
Neither Luke nor Isaac says anything. They just keep looking at me with sad puppy dog eyes.
“Look you guys, I want to do both of you. I don’t want to have to pick. Do you understand?”
“You’re not going to pick one of us?” Luke asks.
“You’re going to continue seeing the both of us?” Isaac asks.
“I’m crazy about the both of you. So, boys, get ready to have the time of your life.”
Isaac and Luke look pretty shocked. I don’t think they are happy about this unorthodox situation. But the thing is, I want them both and I refuse to pick between them. In fact, I want to invite them over to my place, together.
To hell with it, I’m going to ask.
