Liam
It’s officially my second date with Samantha and I couldn’t be more excited. I literally couldn’t sleep last night. I felt like a kid on Christmas Eve- too excited for the next day to even fall asleep.
It’s true that this relationship between Samantha and I didn’t start off normal by any means. But somehow it still feels like everything I’ve ever wanted. She just excites me in a way that no one else ever has.
When I’m not around her- I’m thinking about her. And that right there means a lot to me. I’ve never had a connection like that before. I just don’t want to fuck this up.
I had to fight the urge to plan some big fancy, blow out date for her. Instead, I decide to keep it simple. A girl like Samantha has already seen all there is to see. She’s a freakin model for god’s sake.
She doesn’t need to be dazzled- she needs to be shown what a real life with me would be like. A normal night out on the town as a couple would be me and her, going out to eat, maybe having a few drinks.
I just want to show her that her and I have real chemistry that doesn’t need to be hidden behind grand gestures. And knowing Asher- he is going to be doing the exact opposite.
After a long morning of ranching, it’s finally time to jump in the shower and get ready for our date. Fast forward to an hour later and I’m driving across the street to pick up the gorgeous Samantha.
“Well hello handsome!”
She runs up to my car. I jump out to greet her before she gets in.
“Hey gorgeous!”
I grab her and lift her up. She wraps her legs around my waist, and we hug for a long moment before I put her back down.
“Have I told you how stunning you look yet?”
“No, I don’t believe you have,” she smiles up at me.
I grab her face and bring it up to mine, planting a small, sensual kiss on her lips, before opening the passenger door for her.
During our entire ride to the bar, we jam out to some music together, singing along and having a blast. It proves to me even further that the two of us have a great connection and that we can have fun in any situation.
When we arrive, we walk into the bar hand in hand, finding a spot at the end of the crowded bar counter.
I can see multiple men staring at Samantha, practically drooling. But that doesn’t bother me- because she’s here withme, not them. AndI’mgoing to be the one going home with her. Not only that, but if I’m going to end up being in a relationship with her- then I’m going to need to get used to this.
“What should we drink tonight? You thinkin whiskey? Or maybe tequila?”
“Ooo, whiskey please!” she says.
My kinda girl.
“Bartender, can we get two double shots of your finest whiskey, with just a small float of some coke in each?”
“Yes sir! Comin right up!”
I turn back to Samantha.
“I’m so glad we’re hanging out today. I’ve been thinking about you all week.”
“Aww, Liam. You know, I have to admit- I’ve been thinking about you a lot as well. There’s just something about you that’s so intriguing to me. I get excited to be around you. I’m really glad we’re doing this today.”
“I feel the exact same way. It just feels so natural between us.”
We continue talking after our drinks come, and even get up to play a round of darts.
“How about we turn this into a little competition?” she asks.
“Ooo, that sounds fun!”
