But they were an official couple and apparently, that changed things for her.

He did not mind.

How could it bother him that she didn't like waking without him?

Tor filed that preference away for later. "I had calls to make and did not want to wake you," he said. "However, in future, I will try to stay in bed with you."

"I would like that," she said in a tone that left no doubt she told the truth. "But it was considerate this time, I suppose."

"That was my intent."

She turned in his arms and looked up at him, her blue eyes soft with emotion. "You're a good boyfriend, Tor."

Boyfriend.

That was not the right label and would be replaced by another more permanent one soon, but right now he accepted that they had at least progressed to acknowledging their relationship as one.

"I aim to please," he promised her.

Blythe's sapphire eyes glowed with emotion. "Only for me."

It was true. While Tor did his best to respect and care for his family, this woman was the only person he actively considered pleasing.

In and out of the bedroom.

Another truth he filed away to take out and look at later.

"Did your people find the bugs?" she asked, even as she slid her water slicked body along his.

"Later." He would tell her everything. After.

She wound her arms around his neck, pressing her soft breasts into his chest, tantalizing him with her curves. "Later?" she teased.

He didn't bother to answer, but kissed her instead.

They had already made love multiple times, but his need for her rose as a frenzy inside him and he took her against the wall of the shower, bringing them both to the ultimate pleasure before tenderly washing her body while she did the same for him.

They dried off and donned the thick Turkish robes provided with the suite before calling for food.

They were snuggled on the sectional, a gas fire burning in the fireplace when she asked about the bugs again.

"There was an app on your phone and bugs in your living room and bedroom." There was no point trying to soft pedal it.

The truth was too disturbing.

"My bedroom?" she asked, clearly horrified.

He put one arm over her shoulder, needing to offer comfort in a concrete way. "Whoever placed the bugs knows of your habit of working and talking on the phone while in your bed."

"That isn't all I do in my bedroom." Blythe looked ready to throw up. "That implies it's someone I know well."

"Sweetheart, if they got into your apartment to place the bugs, they have to know you well."

"You called me sweetheart."

"I have called you min skatt many times."

"That means treasure."
