My breath hitches and he kisses my hand again. “Duke…”

“Trust me when I say I know how absurd that must sound at this point in your life. You’re young and there’s so much you haven’t experienced. You deserve to go to college and have tons of fun. Get a degree. Have a great career.”

I don’t think there’s any way I can leave him in four months. And it would be dumb to do it when Chattanooga holds nothing for me. “You. My career in photography. Everything I want is right here.”

“I make good money, and my parents gave me what was left over in my college savings. It’s a good nest egg. I’m more than capable of taking care of you while you build your business and clientele. And if you decide you don’t want to do anything but stay at home and raise our babies, then I’m okay with that too.”

Our babies.I think my ovaries just exploded.

I move to face Bram, straddling him, my arms wrapped around his shoulders. “You want to get married?”

“Yes. I want you to be my wife.” He cradles my face and kisses my mouth. “Would you do that? Marry me? And have babies with me?”

I rise on my knees and position his cock at my entrance. “Yes. I’ll even let you put a baby inside me right now if that’s what you want.”

Bram smiles and shakes his head. “Not tonight. I want our first time to happen when we’re alone.”

He’s right. It would suck for our first time to be interrupted and ruined because my brother figured out it was me in Bram’s bed.

I have no intentions of hurriedly making love for the first time and then rushing out the door. I want to take our time and enjoy every moment of it. “Okay. May 20th it is.”

He tucks my hair behind my ears just as he used to do when I was little. “I can’t wait, little dove.”
