“First base?”

“A human term,” he said, “it was in the Lexikon.”

I shook my head. “Base? Like a military base?”

I looked down at my body, hoping that looking at his Lexikon would distract him from what I was doing, which was looking down at myself and inspecting the “damage” he’d done to me.

My shirt was gone. My tits were out, and they were wet. They had alien man saliva all over them, and just looking at how they glistened with his spit made me feel hot again. I bit my lip and looked further down. My pants were tight thermal ones designed to insulate a woman’s body while wearing her suit. They were black, but they were noticeably a darker black between the legs, and all over my left inner thigh. I reached down and tugged at a part near my thigh that looked wet, and it felt completely soaked through, so much so that when I squeezed, a few drops came loose.

“Good Goddess,” I whispered.

“You’ve never been this wet before?” he asked. “Are you certain you’ve truly come before?”

“I thought I had,” I whispered, bringing my fingers up to my eyes. The wetness was on my fingers now. It was thick, and it smelled like…like sex. I don’t know how I knew what sex smelled like, but I knew it in the same way I knew how to move while he was sucking on my nipples.

“Baseball,” he said, “it’s referring to bases from baseball.”

I shook my head. “I don’t know what that is either.”

He narrowed his eyes, and he shook his head from side to side, then threw a hand in the air. “It’s a game that makes very little sense. It seems your planet was wise not to bring it over from Earth.”

“What is first base exactly?” I asked.

“When the batter hits the baseball,” he said, sounding like he was reading rather than speaking, “he may immediately begin running from home plate toward first base. So long as—”

“Okay,” I said, “I don’t care about baseball, actually. I meant what does first base mean when it comes to…”

He grinned. “I knew what you wanted to know, Airlock, but I wanted to hear you ask it. It seems your culture—on the worlds with men and women together—has an extensive vocabulary and rituals surrounding sex. The bases are used to explain how far a human has come toward sex and losing one’s virginity, which is defined as the penis going into the vagina—”

“The what into the what?”

He gave me a blank stare, shook his head, and pointed down at his cock. “Penis.” Then he looked at me and smirked.

Vagina. Got it. I decide not to tell him what we called it on Eden, because he’d just laugh at me more.

“First base,” he said, “is usually just kissing.”

“So I’m on second base then?”

He nodded. “And you wanted me to steal third.”

“Steal?”

“Nevermind,” he said, “what will you tell the others?”

“Um…” I stammered, looking down at myself, shirtless and covered in alien man sweat and spit. I also had some bite marks all over my tits. “Can you do that magic thing and whip me up some new clothes?”

He shook his head. “My abilities only work on technology of a certain level. I cannot make clothes.”

“You sure can destroy them though. So you want me to go out…like this?”

He grinned and nodded. “I think this will sell your crewmates on the idea of…comingwith me.”

“You did not just do that.”

“Do what?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Promise me you’re not going to make either of them come.”

“I was implying they would come, just by other scions rather than by me.”

“You promise?” I asked. “I’m going to agree to go with you, and I’ll do my best to convince them to come with us, but…”

But I’d rather be alone than have to share you.

I couldn’t say it, not to Thuliak. Not to the man who seemed to feed off my embarrassment as much as he fed off his own ego.

“I’ve told you what I’ll do with them. Now go tell them that the scions who take them will do what I did to you, but to them, then imply that there is much more which I could do to you. Which also will be done to them.”
