Yeah, there was no missing the anger in Maddie’s voice. Of course, he’d be ticked off if a guy sent Maddie anything similar, so he couldn’t fault her. But he just hoped the anger was directed solely toward the wannabe porn star and not him, because he had done nothing to encourage whoever she was.

Keith shook his head. Only the lower half of the woman’s body appeared in the video, and the little of the room visible didn’t look familiar. “Believe me. I wish something did.”

Hell, even a tattoo on the woman’s thigh or hand might help him figure out who kept sending the messages. But either the mystery woman didn’t have any or she had them somewhere not seen in the video.

“Have you thought about asking Lyle for help?”

There wasn’t anything Lyle Cardi, just one genius in Elite Force’s cyber division, couldn’t do when it involved computers or smartphones. And he would’ve paid a visit to Lyle’s desk already if this was work related. But it wasn’t, and he didn’t want Lyle to lose his job for using company resources for a personal matter. And Keith didn’t want to lose his job either.

“Coleman would fire us both.”

“Knowing Lyle, he has what he needs at home if it’s possible to get this person’s name.” Maddie didn’t sound as angry, but no one would ever classify her tone as cheerful either.

“Yeah, you’re probably right.”

Just wanted to remind you of what you’re missing. Did you enjoy my present?

After reading the newest message, he handed the device to Maddie. He didn’t need Maddie to believe he was hiding anything.

“I’ll talk to Lyle on Monday.” It didn’t hurt to ask the guy. And if Lyle learned the mystery woman’s identity, he’d figure out a plan for dealing with her then.

The familiar guitar riff came from the phone again, and Maddie gave the device back to him.

I’ll be imagining it’s you again tonight, Keith. I know you’ll be thinking of me.

Before he received any more messages, Keith turned the device off.

After paying the delivery guy,Lisa closed the door and logged into the messaging app she liked to use on her iPad. It’d been days since she let Keith know she was thinking of him.

Hi Keith. Do you miss me?

How could he not? It’d been months since they’d been together.

Who is this?Keith’s response appeared on the device before she even put the pizza box on the kitchen table.

If he asked that, maybe Maddie was close enough to read the messages, because he knew the text was from her. They were soul mates. Who else would it be?

After sending a reply, Lisa attached an edited version of the video she’d made for him last weekend.

While Lisa gave him time to watch, she grabbed one of the beers Shawn had brought over and settled into a chair. If she had to listen to her cousin and her stepbrother go at it for the next few hours, she was drinking his beer.

Just wanted to remind you of what you’re missing. Did you enjoy my present?

He didn’t answer, but it didn’t matter. Lisa knew him. Keith had enjoyed the video, and he’d watch it again while thinking of her.

The sound of a headboard hitting the bedroom wall traveled down the hallway again.

Unfortunately, Shawn arrived after she’d changed into her pj’s and finished almost an entire bottle of wine, making it unsafe for her to drive even if she felt like going out. Which, tonight, she didn’t.

Shawn and Nicole had been going at it ever since.

Another thud, followed by her cousin’s voice calling out Shawn’s name, reached Lisa’s ears. And Lisa’s mind instantly brought up memories of being in Keith’s bed. She’d had a lot of lovers, but none better than Keith. She never failed to orgasm with him. She couldn’t say the same about some of the guys she’d screwed.

Since she couldn’t be with him tonight, she’d again have to settle for pleasuring herself. Maybe she’d even make another video to send him.

I’ll be imagining it is you again tonight, Keith. I know you’ll be thinking of me.
