He’d caught pieces of Maddie and Amari’s conversation while he and Colby talked football. So he knew Epic Gaming, the company Colby worked for, had come up.

“And you’re telling me this why?” Amari seemed nice. However, at the moment, he had one thing on his mind, and it had nothing to do with Colby and his fiancée.

“You seemed worried when you found out he was marrying someone he’d only been with for a couple of months,” she answered as the elevator reached their floor. “I figured it’d make you feel better if you knew they’d been friends longer than you and I have.”

This afternoon he’d envisioned himself and Maddie in forty years asking someone to take a photo of them much the way the older couple had today, so he wasn’t exactly in a position to criticize his friend’s decision.

“I appreciate the intel. But right now, I don’t want to talk or think about Colby and Amari.”

Tossing her purse on the nightstand, Maddie turned toward him. “What do you want to do?”

Keith closed the distance between them and undid the top button of her blouse. “You in the bed.” Brushing his lips against hers, he unfastened the following button. “In the hot tub.” His fingers moved to the next button as he touched his mouth to hers again. “And in the shower.”

“The chair could be fun.” Maddie’s fingers moved across his forearms toward his wrists, heating his skin and pushing his control to the brink. “I think the table is out, but the bench has promise.” She nodded toward the upholstered bench at the foot of the bed as she grabbed both his wrists and pulled them away from her shirt.

“Where should we start?” She undid the last two buttons and slipped her arms out, letting the top land on the floor. Her eyes shifted toward the bed and then back to him as she slid the zipper on the side of her skirt down. Much like the top, her skirt landed forgotten on the floor. “We’ve already tested the bed. Should we use the hot tub next?”

Rather than answer, he feasted his eyes on the view before him. He’d thought it a little odd but hadn’t questioned her when she went into the bathroom to get dressed. If anyone had asked, he would’ve said she was wearing a no-frills cotton bra and panties like she always did under the blouse and skirt when she walked out. And he would’ve never been more wrong in his life.

The black lace corset ended several inches above her waist, leaving her defined abs on display. A tiny triangle of black lace situated well below her navel completed the outfit—assuming it consisted of enough fabric to be classified as an outfit. Whatever the hell it was, Keith hoped she had more like it at home.

“Turn around.” This outfit deserved to be viewed from all vantage points.

Maddie’s right eyebrow inched up, and she crossed her arms as a hint of a smile pulled at her lips. “Excuse me?”

He’d play along tonight. “Please turn around.”

“Well, since you said please.”

The sight of her in the tiny thong almost brought him to his knees. “Are you trying to fucking kill me?”

She glanced over her shoulder at him. How she managed such an innocent expression, he had no idea. Yet, she did. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Unable to resist, he ran his left hand over her ass while his right traveled down her stomach and under the lace covering her. “Tell me you have more like this at home.” He kissed her neck as he slipped one finger inside her. Although he’d just touched her, she was already wet and ready for him.

He received a moan in response.

They’d have to test out the hot tub later. There was no way he could wait for it to fill with water. “What was that? I didn’t hear you,” he asked, undoing his belt with one hand.

Grabbing his wrist, she pulled his hand away and faced him again. “You’ll have to wait and see,” she said before taking care of the button and zipper on his pants. “You never answered me.” She pushed his pants down, leaving him to free his ankles, and then turned her attention to the buttons on his polo shirt. “I think we should try the hot tub next. What about you?”

Keith yanked the shirt over his head and tossed it on the floor. “After.”

“No.” Placing her hands on his shoulders, she moved them down his body and slowly shook her head. “I don’t want to.” When her hands reached the waistband of his underwear, she paused. “But don’t worry.” Maddie kissed the pulse in his neck and then met his eyes. “I’ll make sure you enjoy the wait while it fills with water,” she said, running her hand down the length of him.

If she did that again, he’d come right there. “Start the water. I’ll open the champagne.”
