“Hey, look who decided to join us.” Spencer neared the steps of the deck as Noah walked up.
My heart thrummed inside my chest when I saw him. His denim jeans hung low on his hips, the white V-neck shirt hugging his chest, showcasing the contours of his broad shoulders. His biceps were flexed, thick veins roped around his arms. It reminded me of how it felt having his arms wrapped around my waist, my body on the verge of burning to ash.
Our eyes met, and I was unable to breathe through the desire that instantly bloomed inside me. How was it possible for iced blue eyes to burn? How could a single second of looking at him cause my body to ache with a need only he could soothe?
