CHAPTER24

It was dark by the time they arrived at the house. Ellis felt mentally exhausted. To think that Henry might have harmed Daisy frightened him. But he didn’t think it would be a problem anymore.

“Go upstairs, undress, and wait for us,” Lee told her.

From the tone of his voice, Ellis knew he was not happy. Daisy glanced at him, but then she hurried up the stairs.

“What’s wrong?” Ellis asked, thinking what else could go wrong tonight.

“She was making him dinner,” he said. “I think she needs to be punished. You don’t make your enemies dinner.”

Of course, the man was right, but Ellis thought she didn’t have much choice. “Let’s ask her why she was doing it before you decide to take her over your knee.”

“That is a given. I’m feeling the need,” Lee said.

“It might not be the night to show her your brute strength,” Ellis said, thinking he would much rather hold her in his arms and hope that the past was now completely behind them.

“We’ll see,” Lee said in a tone that wasn’t his normal chipper self.

Ellis hurried up the stairs. Today, they could have lost her and that’s what frightened him the most. If Henry had gotten his way, he could have killed all of them. Thank goodness, the man was just overly distraught. Grief had a way of doing that to a man. But that wasn’t Daisy’s fault.

When Ellis reached the top of the stairs, he hurried into their bedroom and began to remove his clothes. Daisy lay in position at the top of the bed, her face in the sheets, her ass sticking up in the air.

“Face us, we need to talk,” Ellis said. He wanted to see her facial expressions to determine whether or not she had played any part in today.

“Tell us what happened this afternoon. How did you find yourself in Henry’s house?”

The memory of not being able to find her when they looked in the house terrified him. While he liked that their wife had an empathetic nature, there were some people that were too dangerous to help.

“We were frightened he harmed you,” Lee said, pulling his shirt from his pants. He sank down in the chair and began to remove his boots. Then he removed his pants, his big cock jutting out in front of him.

“Is that a bruise on your face,” Ellis said, seeing the faint mark in the light from the lantern.

“Yes, he hit me when I fought him,” she said.

Ellis glanced at Lee. She hadn’t gone to Henry’s home willingly.

For the next five minutes, she told them what happened and how she left a trail of groceries for them to find her.

Naked, he reached out and pulled her into his arms. “Thank God, you’re all right. I knew you weren’t there cooking him supper because you wanted to.”

“No,” she said with a sniff. “In some ways, I felt sorry for him, but since Charleston, I will fight and kick and scream whenever anyone tries to force me against my will. I’m never going to be a willing victim ever again.”

Lee wrapped his arms around her. “I’m sorry for doubting you.”

“You doubted me?”

“Yes,” he said.

She reached up and stroked his face.

“In some ways, I did too,” Ellis admitted. “I read your father’s letter and I was afraid you had left to return to Charleston.”

A gasp came from her and she sat back, her sapphire eyes flashed at them. “You are my husbands. My life, my world. I’m not going anywhere. I’m here to stay and I can’t wait for us to create a family of our own.”

She took a deep breath and then reached out and stroked each man’s cheek. “These past weeks have been the best days of my life. You’ve shown me the meaning of love. I love you both with all my heart. You’re my life, my family, my loves. Don’t ever doubt me again.”

Ellis chuckled. “Daisy, thank you for marrying us. You’ve healed my heart and made me into a better man. I love you, darling, and I now know better than to ever doubt you again.”

She leaned in and kissed him gently before she released him and turned to Lee.

“Damn, Daisy, this is why I wanted to marry you. There’s no guessing with you and I let my doubts get in the way. I gave you my heart on our wedding day. I love you, and I, too, will never doubt you again.”

Pulling his head to her lips, she kissed Lee.

Standing, Lee walked over to the dresser where he selected a larger plug from the wooden box and a jar of ointment. “I want to see you work this plug into your ass. Afterward, I’m going to spank you and you are not allowed to come.”

She tilted her blonde curls in one direction. “And why am I getting a spanking?”

“Because, darling, I was so damn scared tonight. No, it’s probably not fair, but it will please me.”

Her brows rose and then she smiled. “Just be forewarned, that I will get you back. I’m going to make you scream with pleasure. I’m going to suck that big cock of yours until you’re screaming my name.”

Lee grinned.

Ellis stared down at his beautiful wife, her pussy beckoned him. The thought of plunging his long hard dick into her was tempting, but his pleasure would have to wait.

“Daisy, you enjoy us spanking you, and you have done well with us sticking a plug in your ass. Don’t pretend you’re not going to enjoy tonight.”

Her eyes narrowed as she stared at him. “But you’re not going to let me come.”

The woman had a stubborn streak, and tonight she’d shown her spunky side when Ellis stopped her from hitting Henry with the frying pan. He’d been shocked, and yet he could understand why. She’d suffered enough at the hands of men who tried to ruin her.
