I dressed quickly into my undergarments and a robe and hustled outside in flip-flops to the makeup trailer to finish getting ready.
I tripped over a stone and failed to catch myself in the process, stubbing my toe and then smacking my knee on the ground.
I grimaced and cursed under my breath.
“Are you okay?” Lincoln asked.
He bent down, offering me a hand to help me stand.
My eyes widened before I pulled back and stood without his assistance. “What are you still doing here?” I glanced over at him, noticing his change of clothes and the badge hung on a lanyard around his neck.
The lanyard in giant letters readSECURITY.
“Since when do you work here as security?”
