After all, it’s what the guys have done every day of the freaking week for as long as I can remember. Why shouldn’t I have my fun? Especially now my V-card has been well and truly shredded.

My stomach knots and my skin tingles as the memory of his burning touch, his tight grip on my hips as he thrust into me fills my mind and makes my temperature soar.

I squeeze my eyes closed for a beat and force myself back to reality.

“Get as naked as you want, Deimos, but don’t be expecting the same in return. I’m merely giving you a lift.”

“You’re good. I wasn’t so drunk that I’ve forgotten about our little skinny-dipping session last weekend.”

My cheeks burn hotter.

“Probably for the best you do try to forget,” I mumble. “Nico will fuck you up if you so much as think about my tits.”

“If that were true, I’d have been six feet under a long time ago.”

“You’re a shameless flirt, Alexander.”

“That may be true, Callista. But something tells me you love it.”

I startle when his finger brushes against my ear, tucking a lock of dark hair behind it.

I swallow nervously. I really don’t need him studying me too hard. I might have got away with it at school and fooled the girls, and Jerome, but I fear my concealer will only last so long.

“You want me to stop for food?” I offer, knowing that the way into any of the guys’ hearts—or flats, so I can keep digging—is through their stomachs.

“What did I do to deserve this treatment today?”

Isn’t that the question?

“Nothing. I’m hungry, and I know you will be too, so…”

“Burgers?”

“You got it.”

I take the next right and head toward the guys’ favourite burger place as Alex calls our order in.

“Don’t go anywhere,” he says after I pull up outside Burnt Coals, the place that makes the best burgers in the city.

“You’re gonna bring back food. I’m not likely to ditch you now.”

“Pretend you want me for the burgers all you want, baby C. We both know it’s my body that’s got your mouth watering.”

“You’re delusional,” I call before he shuts the door on me.

I watch him go, my eyes shamelessly dropping to his arse in his football shorts.

“Fucking stop it,” I bark at myself. One roll around the sheets and I’m already turning into one of the whores who follow the guys around with my tongue hanging out.

I don’t want Alex. Hell, I don’t want any of them. Or I shouldn’t.

Resting my head back, I close my eyes, letting my mind drift back to my time with Daemon.

Every single inch of me knows that I shouldn’t have allowed myself to fall under his spell quite as easily as I did.

But it was impossible.

One touch. One whisper in my ear. One slight hint at the vulnerable little boy hiding behind the dark mask, and I’m fucking gone for him.
