I don't like this Delilah, Fleur thought. She didn't realize she had been holding her breath until she closed the door firmly behind her mistress.

She didn't like to think of how much worse it was going to get when they arrived at the court of King Theo. She had been trying not to think about it for the last six months but tomorrow at dawn they would set sail.

Chapter 3 - Theo

The raucous banging of a fist on wood had become the normal wakeup call for Theo over the years and he barely batted an eyelid to it.

"My Lord!" The shrill voice of his advisor, Maximus, sounded through the thick door. "My Lord, you must wake and prepare yourself!"

The banging came again and Theo groaned, rolling over to feel warm flesh beside his own.

The events of the previous evening came flooding back and for a moment he smiled devilishly.

"Urgh...does he ever shut up?" The husky yet feminine voice of the second woman lying behind him let out a groan. "He's been banging for forever!"

She groaned again and pulled the silken covers up over her head.

"Come in, Maxi!" Theo yelled, stifling his own groan.

Even as the door opened, Theo hooked his arm around the waist of the girl in front of him and pulled her into him, his manhood hardening against the smooth curve at the top of her buttocks.

"Hmm...good morning to you too, My Lord," she giggled, pressing herself up against him like a feline in heat. She reached a hand behind her back, taking him in her hand as though Maximus's presence in the room had gone unnoticed.

"What do you want, Maxi?" Theo growled through gritted teeth. He would have liked nothing more than to take Flicker and Flower, two of his personal courtesans all over again, but he definitely did not like the idea of having an audience.

He eyed the graying haired fae advisor over Flicker's shoulder. Her hand on his rock hard member made it increasingly difficult to concentrate on the irritating man's face.

For a fae, Maximus was repulsive. Though he'd obviously had good looks in his youth, they were fading now and if Theo had to guess, he would have said the man was the oldest fae in all the kingdoms. There weren't many fae who lived long enough to have graying hair unless they were born with it like many on the Winter Isle. Besides, Theo knew very well his advisor was definitely not an ice fae. It was his job to know everything about everyone in his kingdom and if he didn't, it was his advisor's job to make sure he did.

No doubt Maximus was there to tell him that one of his nobles had been causing chaos again.

The advisor cleared his throat and Theo felt a small glow of satisfaction at the way the man averted his eyes from the bed and the collective nudeness he found there, a rosy glow of awkwardness warming his otherwise pallid cheeks.

"Which one was it this time?" Theo snapped. "Out with it, Maxi!"

The advisor glanced at him with shock at his questioning before quickly averting his eyes again. "Your Grace, please don't tell me you have forgotten."

"I can forget whatever I wish," Theo reminded him in a grumpy tone. "That is what I have you for."

Though he restrained it, Theo didn't miss the advisor's exasperated sigh.

"Ladies, leave us!" Maximus snapped. "Your Lord and I have important matters of state to discuss!"

Neither girl budged an inch and Theo bit the inside of his cheek to stop himself from openly laughing. Yes, his advisor was annoying and irritating and more than a little boring, but he was also a respected member of the court who had come with his king from the mainland to help him rule. Though Theo would never admit it, he wouldn't have had a clue what to do without him.

"Don't be such a spoil sport, Maxi," Theo groaned before leaning forward to bury his face in the crook between Flicker's shoulder and neck. As he did so, he felt Flower cozying up to him, her perky breasts pressed firmly against his back. An involuntary growl of desire rumbled in his throat at the feel of her warm flesh pressed against him.

These women really know what they are doing.

"My Lord, please, I have asked you more than once to refrain from calling me that. My name is Maximus and that is what I respectfully ask to be called," the advisor grumbled. "And I very much think it would be a good idea if your female companions were to leave us now. The business I have come to talk of is not for delicate ears."

"Ignore him," Flicker whispered into his ear and a shiver of delight ran down Theo's spine. She certainly knew what she wanted. And the moment she reached over Theo and gripped his manhood in her hand, he did too. He winced slightly though more out of surprise and pleasure than pain.

"My Lord, we haven't much time," Maximus continued to chirp away like an annoying little bird or a fly that would not cease buzzing around the king's head.

"Fine!" he growled through gritted teeth, forcing himself up into a sitting position against the bare headboard. The mountain of pillows that usually decorated it had been discarded all over the place during the previous night's escapades.

"Ladies, please leave us," Maximus said, his voice more confident now that the two girls had been forced away from his lord.
