“Now or later, dorogaya?” Hunter purrs, sliding in next to her and obviously stroking her thigh.
I slide in on her other side and order a rum and coke. Hunter gets whiskey straight and gives Valerie his full attention.
“Don’t those sounds remind you of something?” He flirts, referring to the near non-stop moans.
“The mansion, what every person who pressed their ear to your door heard,” She sasses.
“I bet we could make you louder than those using the dungeon.”
“Not if I have Chase’s cock in my mouth.” She kisses me softly, leaning towards me like she’s playing tug of war. “Then I’m all muffled and quiet.”
Hunter groans and strokes further up her thigh. “If we weren’t here for work …”
“Then I’d make you work to get your hands on me. It’s been too long since I’ve teased you properly.” She smiles wickedly.
I roll my eyes at their back and forth and stroke over Valerie’s necklace. She shivers and turns her dark eyes up to me. I kiss her softly, slowly, cupping the back of her head in my hand as I feast on her mouth.
Hunter grumbles something about me being easy, but soon enough we have our drinks, and then Lief texts the warning. I sigh. Hunter puts on his bored poker face. “Rules, Valerie.”
“Be good. Use my brain, not my emotions. My hands stay on you two, and I don’t flip the table and start a fight,” She recites.
“Use all those psychology tricks you have. The ones you use in the office, the ones you used on Sven. Just because we’re in a nicer place doesn’t mean this is any less of a threatening position.” Hunter strokes over her jaw and shakes his head. “You look too damn innocent. I want to corrupt you.”
She giggles. “Patience,sir.”
Hunter growls and bites her bottom lip. “The things I’ll do to tame that sass.”
“You love it, or you wouldn’t tolerate it.”
“Oh, I do a whole lot more than tolerate you.” He smirks.
Before they can get into another X-rated conversation, because I know how happy they are to tease each other and push buttons, I whistle sharply. I know that will get Stefan’s attention. I take a slow breath.
“Baby doll … I’m going to get us some water.”
Her eyes narrow on me. “Where are you really going, Chase?”
“Hands-on Hunter, on the table ….”
Hunter nods and gently whispers the rest in her ear as I weave through the crowd to find Stefan. I’ll play nice. But it’s Hunter’s job to keep Valerie in line. Stefan can know we’re sharing her, but I doubt he’s ready for her. Just like I know, if she distracts him with those feather-light touches and some light innuendo, he’ll be putty in her hands. He can’t resist a beautiful woman.
When I see him, slimy and slicked with a blonde on his arm, I force a smile. “Stefan, we got a private booth.”
“How kind. I figured there would be hurt feelings after our last meeting.”
“Tempers – you and Hunter both have them.”
“That we do.” He nods. “Glad to see it hasn’t harmed our friendship, Chase.”
I guide him to the booth and take the spot by Hunter. Valerie looks to me for a moment and I see how frustrated she is. We kept her in the dark. But Stefan is immediately snared. I’m pretty sure he’d forget the blonde if she wasn’t digging her talons into his arm.
He slides into the booth and Italian flicks off his tongue as he offers Valerie his hand. She takes it and lets him kiss the back of her fingers.
“So you’re Stefan?”
“You’ve heard of me?”
She smiles, but I don’t miss the blatant fury in her eyes. “Oh, you have no idea.”
