My heart leapt when I saw the hedge row of wild roses we’d crawled under to get to the hidden cove. The little tunnel was still there. I knew where to look of course, but any passersby wouldn’t even notice.

“Jay, remember?” I asked as I pointed.

“How could I ever forget?”

We continued on up the road, passing houses on either side. A sign on one lawn read:

LOBSTERS. $1.99 A POUND!

The road took us up a hill on the right-hand arm of the bay and before I knew it we were at a closed gate. Jay walked right up to it, pulled a key from his pocket and unlocked it. It swung open and he beckoned for me to follow him as he went through.

I followed him up the private, freshly paved road and around the corner and below a shelf of low-hanging tree branches. And then I saw it.

A brand new modern home sat on the high ground at the tip of the peninsula overlooking the sea. The open water glistened like a field of countless candles. The sight simply took my breath away.

“Jay…” I whispered. “This is your house?”

Jay didn’t answer. I felt his eyes on me and turned to see that same comforting smile I loved so much.

“It’s…it’s awesome!” I laughed.

It really was. I didn’t know that much about architecture, but I could tell a lot of thought and time had gone into its design.

The front was a strong face of off-white cedar shingles, which I knew were chosen for their water resistance, and not a lot of windows, but I could see the sides and back were almost all glass with at least three elevated decks to give a view of all sides of the peninsula.

“It still needs a bit of work,” Jay said as he led me to the solid red front door. “There’s basically no furniture inside, so I’ll need someone to help me with the interior design.”

“Is there a bed?” I winked as he opened the door.

“I do have one of those,” he replied.

“Good,” I said, kissing him on the lips. “That’s all we need.”

Epilogue

Rachel

Six months later…

My muscles tensed and my body ached as I rode my husband’s massive cock in our bedroom overlooking the ocean as the sun went down and bathed us both in a warm orange glow.

I was dripping all over him and, despite having already come twice, was on the verge of exploding again.

“Ride that dick, duchess,” Jay groaned from beneath me. I may have been on top, but he was still in control with his rough hands gripping my hips and letting me know that I wasn’t going anywhere.

His girth stretched me to the point of pain but just before, and every second I took it, I thought I was on the verge of not being able to anymore. And that’s what made sex with him so fucking thrilling.

Well, not just that.

There was also his gorgeous body—the thick arms, wide chest, strong back and washboard abs, his flawless face and legs of an Olympi

c sprinter. There was his working boy’s tan and the fierce, possessive, dominant look always in his eyes when he looked at me…

It was the whole package. If there was a checkbox for the ideal man, Jay would tick every single box and then add some more of his own.

Thankfully my parents had realized this too. He’d won my mother over after the fiasco with Colin, and together we’d worked on my father to get him to accept the fact that I wasn’t going to be marrying Caleb and was in fact going to have a marriage based on love instead of business.

Caleb, once he got over what he perceived to be an insult to his pride, moved on quickly to another girl from upstate New York whose father ran a publishing empire. I heard they were already engaged.
