She breathed out. “Promise?”
“Yes.” He bit her bottom lip, making her whimper, before he sucked it into his mouth, hauling her closer.
She melted against him as he kissed her deeply before letting her go.
“I need to go,” he murmured. “I have a lot to do.” He backed away from her. “Ti amo.”
“I love you too,” she said, releasing his hand.
He grabbed his leather jacket, having already changed out of his uniform, and stuffed a gun into his waistband.
“Keep her safe,” he said to me as he strode to the door.
I followed him as he pulled it open and stepped through.
“You know what to do if shit goes south. Take her and run.”
“I know,” I said.
“Take her mind off things. I’m sure you and Vasiliev can come up with a few ideas if he can make it over,” he continued softly.
“You want me to fuck your wife with Vasiliev?” I teased, eager to do his bidding.
“You know I do, Vin. I owe Vasiliev anyway. Let him fuck her. But remember the rules,” he said, his voice so soft I had to lean in to hear him.
I studied his face, noting the discontent.
“She’ll be here waiting for your big dick when you get back,” I said, hoping to soothe him.
Deep down, I suspected he worried she loved Vasiliev more than him. Hell, even I considered it. She’d been willing to run away with him.
Dom reached out and cradled my face, pressing his forehead to mine. “Protect her, Vin. She’s everything to me.”
“Me too,” I rasped, moving my hands atop his.
He breathed out, his breath feathering across my lips. “Promise me.”
“Swear it.”
He released me and left without another word. I watched him go, my heart hammering hard. I fucking hoped B’s worries were nothing. As much as Dom pissed me off with his possessiveness over her, I didn’t want to lose him. Or Levin. They were my brothers. My family. My best friends.
I tugged my phone out and closed Dom’s door before turning to B.
“Want to take your mind off things?” I called out.
She nodded.
It was all the answer I needed.
“Pull your skirt up and spread your legs, baby. We’re going to have a good time.”
