I cozied up with my fuzzy, pink blanket on my small couch.

I pressed play and opened the bag of ketchup chips.

The only time I ever ate ketchup chips was when the world got to be too much.

Yeah, when the world was too much—and I had too little—to no—control over anything.

The only thing I could do was shove delicious red chips into my face.

I undid the wrapper on a Crunchie bar. It was by far the best chocolate in the world.

Guaranteed to lift anyone’s spirits.

Just like the name, I crunched down into the chocolate covered sponge toffee bar and savored the sugary goodness.

The sweet romance movie I’d chosen didn’t disappoint.

The hero had just caught feelings for the heroine—and I smiled.

“Oh, I love this one, move over.” Trey startled me. I hadn’t heard him get out of bed.

I shoved myself over and gave him room. His mouth opened wide. “You had Crunchie bars and ketchup chips in here this whole time and didn’t tell me?”

“You didn’t ask,” I said, diving back into the chips—only now, I had competition. And Trey’s hands were a lot bigger than mine.

“Don’t take all of them,” I frowned as I spoke through a mouthful of chips.

He looked at me, and his eyes fell to my lips. The corners of his mouth tipped up. “Fuck, you are so cute.” Then he leaned over and kissed me softly. And before I knew it, he slipped the Crunchie bar out of my hand.

“Hey, what the heck?” I tried to swipe it back from him, but his arms were too long. I couldn’t reach it.

“One bite,” he said, sneaking a large chunk of it.

There was only a small sliver left in the wrapper, but I grabbed what was left anyway. I popped it into my mouth and chewed.

That was when I realized I was in Trey’s lap.

Straddling him.

His bare chest is right in front of me. I felt his hardness between my legs and I shifted forward.

I couldn’t help it.

He moaned, and his hands went directly to my hips—and pulled me down, tight to him.

The only bad thing about ketchup chips was the red flavoring they left on your fingers.

I stuck my index finger into my mouth and licked it clean.

“Nope, that’s my job,” Trey said in a low, gruff voice. He grasped my hand and quickly captured my thumb between his lips.

He sucked it into his mouth. I felt his insistent tongue swirl around it, and it sent a bolt of electricity straight between my legs.

He continued seductively and effectively sucking each of my fingers on that hand until they were clean.

My eyes never left his.

His gaze lowered to my chest, then his hands landed on my shoulders. “I like this nightie,” he said in a low, smoldering tone that made my lower belly contract.
