I stormed out, promising myself I wouldn’t lose my fucking mind any more than I already had.

Not until I was in my car, and away from these people, and these goddamn cameras.

“Trey, hold up,” I heard my captain call from behind me.

I turned briefly and shook my head. “I’m out of here.”

“Okay, wait for me. Trey, hang on a sec,” he said, racing down the steps.

I didn’t wait for him.

I hurried to the iron gate and opened it.

I had to get the hell out of here.

Now.

“You are not driving,” Beau said, yanking on my arm. He pulled the keys out of my hand.

“Fuck you, what are you doing?” I snapped at him and tried to take my keys back.

“You are not driving,” he threatened in a low, imposing voice.

I shook my head and kept walking to my car.

I’d had enough for the day. “Fine, drive then. I don’t care.”

We jumped into my car.

“Where do you want to go?”

I glanced at him. “I don’t fucking care.”

He nodded.

He droveus to his house.

Well, his and Gigi’s house.

Neither of us said a word to each other the entire fifteen minute drive over.

And I was glad for that.

My mind raced constantly.

I cursed to myself when I realized I’d left my pills at home.

I was more careful where I hid them this time.

The last thing I wanted to do was give Lexi something else to rant about.

I understood why she’d be concerned.

I get it.

But she didn’t know that I could handle it.

I didn’t take the pills as a crutch.
