Lexi

Holy cow, my nerves were getting the better of me.

Trey, and Gigi—and everyone—had warned me that tonight’s episode would probably mostly be about me and Trey.

We’d already been all over social media.

And the news.

Good grief.

It hadn’t let up, either.

There were always a bunch of fans outside the doors whenever we arrived or left.

I actually got a kick out of signing autographs and taking selfies with them.

But TV was different.

I wasn’t sure how weird it would be to see myself on the screen.

Especially when they were probably going to air all the stupid crap we did.

“Shh,” Nikki said, “it’s starting.”

We’d all gathered in Jillian’s apartment to watch the episode.

I guess that was also part of the deal when you joined these teams.

Not only could the producers put whatever they wanted to on TV, but they also live-streamed the teams watching the episode.

Nice.

Ugh.

The theme song started, and short clips of the team played.

A minute later or so, the hosts of the show walked onto the stage.

“Good evening, everyone. I’m Marco Stryker and this is my lovely cohost, Lola Lopez!”

I also might still have a poster or two of Marco on my walls at home, too.

Not as many as Trey, of course.

But Marco had been on a really popular teen show back in the day.

And yeah, he was hot.

Really hot.

Lola was gorgeous.

She’d been on a Friday night, family comedy for years.

Unfortunately, she hadn’t been cast in anything good since.
