When the door closed, I pushed the cover of Geneviève’s book up with my finger. The front had one scantily clad woman surrounded by, three—no, four bare chested men? “What the hell kind of book are you reading?”

“It’s by Jane Jefferies,” she said, clearly annoyed and moving the book away from me.

“Four men and one woman? Please tell me she’s not sleeping with all of them?”

“Okay, I won’t muddy your virgin ears.”

“Seriously?” I asked, sitting up and pulling the book out of her hands completely now. “All at the same time? Or do they all take turns?”

“Uh, yes?”

I laughed and started paging through the book. “Are you for real?”

“Good grief, don’t act so shocked. It’s a reverse harem novel. Haven’t you ever heard of them before?” she asked, trying to get the book away from me. I was too fast, and my arms were longer.

“What does reverse harem mean?”

She straddled me, trying again to reach the book. “One woman and three or more guys. Sometimes the heroine is with each hero separately. And sometimes they’re all in the same room and—take turns.” Her cheeks turned a pretty pink color.

“Three or more guys? I mean, I can understand two. Yeah. But multiple men? There’s not even enough for everyone to do. How do the other studs keep busy?”

Geneviève’s chest bounced deliciously as she laughed. “Well, some watch. Some hold legs.”

I frowned at her and asked, “Do you need your legs held?”

Her eyes rolled back, and she said, “You don’t need them held, no. But it’s fun to read about.”

“And do you wish there were three more—heroes here to satisfy you in bed?” I asked, my free hand sliding down to her warm, bare ass cheek. Damn, I loved thongs.

She slipped her hands over my chest all the way to my shoulders. “Nope, one hero is good enough,” she said, touching her lips to mine. I gladly took her kiss and deepened it. She tasted like fresh mint and I groaned.

Suddenly, she rose up on her knees and tried to rip the book out of my hand. Instead, she knocked it to the floor. I rolled her to her back and said, “You weren’t trying to distract me by calling me your hero, were you?” My lips touched the sensitive flesh on the side of her neck, and I watched the goose bumps form as I kissed her there.

Her head shook from side to side while she tried to push me off. “No, Beau, I would never do something like that.” She giggled as I tickled her ribs with one hand and held both her wrists in the other.

“What are the chances of your mom coming back in here,” I whispered into her ear. Her whole body shivered.

“I don’t know?” she said breathlessly, her eyes meeting mine.

“What do you mean you don’t know?”

“I’ve never had a sleepover with a boy before.”

I felt a giant grin spread across my face. “Never?”

She shook her head and smiled back at me. I liked the fact that I was her first male sleepover guest in this house. “Then we’ll stay under the covers. Just in case.”
