“I’ll give it a B+.”

I looked at her in disbelief. “A B+, what the hell?”

She laughed. “Yeah, I need you to do it a few thousand more times, so I can be sure it was an A+ job.”

I growled and attacked her neck. When she was done laughing, I slid out of her. I lay down on my side. “Not to put a damper on this, and I want you to know, it doesn't matter to me.” She gave me a frown. “But you do realize, don't you, that we didn’t use anything? I’m clean, I promise,” I said hastily.

She sat up in shock.

“Damn it, I forgot. How could I do that? Thank goodness, I got Zara to give me a prescription for the pill. I can’t tolerate the shots and the idea of something left in there freaks me out.”

“Well, hell, there goes my plan to knock you up so you’ll marry me,” I teased her, though a part of me was a little disappointed.

“Really, that was your plan? Isn’t that supposed to be the woman’s plan, not the guy’s?”

“Hey, I’m a progressive kind of guy. Well, since you ruined my plans, the least you can do is come take a shower with me and we can see if anything comes up.” I wiggled my eyebrows. She giggled as I got up and swung her up in my arms. I took her to the shower. And what do you know, something did come up and more than once before morning. In fact, I was in heaven and couldn’t be happier. Things were going along perfectly.
