When things died back down, the guys got busy grilling. I tried to go to the kitchen to see if the prospects needed any help to get the other food ready, but Rebel wouldn’t let me. I saw Jocelyn and Devyn trying to do the same and they were getting denied as well. Damn, they were serious about us not doing anything else for this party.

As we were waiting, I saw Jessica’s car pull into the parking lot. I looked around but didn’t see Ajax anywhere. He must be inside. I told Rebel I was going to go greet her. She was still shy around the club and there were a ton more people here that she didn’t know. I wanted her to feel comfortable. Not only had she become a friend in such a short period of time, but I thought she’d soon be more. I saw the way Ajax watched her.

I’d almost made it to her, when I saw Razor and Torch from the other club get to her. They were both looking at her appreciatively. Jessica was a gorgeous young woman and had no trouble attracting male attention. However, from what she had indicated, she didn’t date. In fact, I never saw her noticing when guys were staring at her. It was like she didn’t know how beautiful she was. I could tell she was a little overwhelmed with their attention and didn’t know what to do. I hurried up my pace. Just before I reached them, Torch took her arm and started to lead her toward a secluded bench. Razor was right behind them. Suddenly, Ajax appeared out of nowhere. He raced over to intercept them. I could hear what he was saying.

“Get your fucking hand off her, Torch, or I’ll take them off. She’s not going anywhere with you two. Come on, Jessica, we’ll go find Madisen.”

“Wait a minute, brother, she’s not taken. I think she can decide if she wants to come with us or not. We’re just going somewhere to talk. We want to get to know her,” Torch protested.

Jessica looked at all of them in confusion. I knew she was out of her depth. I interrupted them before things got ugly. “Hey, Jessica, it’s good to see you. I was hoping you’d get here soon. How was the bakery? Let’s grab you a drink and get in the shade.” She threw me a grateful look and excused herself after telling Torch and Razor it was nice to meet them. As we turned, I saw Rebel was right behind me. He gave me a wink. I took her away while Ajax stayed. I could see him arguing with them and looking pissed. Rebel was with them. He’d keep it from getting out of hand. Hopefully.

I handed her a water. She was frowning. “What’s wrong, Jess?”

“I don’t understand. Why did those two want to talk to me so bad? And why did Ajax get pissed at them? Guys confuse the hell out of me.” Her innocent statements made me laugh. She gave me a confused look. “What?”

“Seriously, you have no idea, do you? They wanted to talk to you because you’re a beautiful, sexy woman. Ajax didn’t like them paying attention to you. He’s jealous.” She reared back in surprise.

“No, that wasn’t it. I’m not beautiful or sexy. I think they’re just being nice. Maybe because I work for the club.”

I shook my head in disbelief. “Jess, I don’t know how you can’t see it, but it’s more than you working for the club or them being nice. Ajax can’t stay away from the bakery—”

“That’s because he’s on guard duty all the time.”

“No, he volunteers to be on guard duty to be close to you. He watches you all the time.”

“There is no way a guy like him would ever look at me twice. He’s way out of my league. Now, you asked about the bakery.” She went off, telling me how the day went. I knew she wasn’t going to continue talking about Ajax or guys in general being attracted to her. Someone had done a job on her in the past for her to be that oblivious to her attractiveness. I would let it go for now.

Rebel came and joined us. Ajax was right behind him. I gave her a raised brow. She shook her head at me. Before we knew it, Bull was calling out for everyone to eat. The kids got served first. Rebel took me to a table and told me he’d get our food. I tried to tell him I’d help, but again, he insisted I sit. Ajax went with him. Jessica stayed beside me, chatting. I told her she should get in line. Her response was she’d wait until it died down.

We were talking about one of our more colorful customers when Rebel came back with our plates. He had them loaded to the max. He knew there was no way I’d eat it all. He grinned, knowing what I was thinking. Jessica jumped when Ajax set a plate in front of her and took the seat beside her.

“I didn’t know what you liked, so I got you a little of everything. If you want more of something, let me know.”

She stared at him stunned for a moment, then mumbled “Thank you.” I looked at Rebel.

He was grinning again. He knew what was happening even if she didn’t.

After dinner, they had music playing. Some of the couples and ladies were dancing. I saw even the pregnant ones were doing it. I joined them. It was so fun to just cut loose and relax. I’d even convinced Jessica to get up there with us after much cajoling. She turned out to be a fabulous dancer. We were all teasing her about hiding it when arms circled my waist. Rebel pressed up against me. I turned around to kiss him.

He danced with me tight in his arms. I looked over to see the other guys had joined their women, and Ajax had Jessica in his arms. We danced a few songs then the guys went back to talking and drinking. That’s how the evening passed. We’d take breaks and sit with our men, then go back to dancing.

It was now dark, and the kids had been put down in the basement in the clubhouse. It was all decked out for them. They had a couple of prospects keeping an eye on them. Ms. Marie, Alannah’s grandma, had come with the Dublin Falls’ club. She was watching them as well. With the kids down, the bunnies came slinking in. I could see them trying to hook up with whoever they could. I tried to ignore them. As long as they left my man and the other married guys alone, they could do whatever they wanted.

I was back on Rebel’s lap, talking to Devyn, Ace, Terror, Harlow, Savage, and Janessa. Janessa was telling me about her job as an ER nurse. Out of nowhere, I heard a yell. Looking up, I saw one of the bunnies was in Jessica’s face. Ajax was standing there arguing with the bunny. I think it was the one they called Daisy. Jessica was holding up her hands in surrender and backing away from her. Ajax tried to stop her, but she evaded his hands. I saw Bull and a couple of the others headed in their direction.

When they got there, Ajax was now looking pissed and was saying something to Daisy as he tried to get Jessica to stay still. Before anyone could stop her, Jessica broke away and ran to her car. Ajax swore and tried running after her, but Daisy got in his way, slowing him down. That small delay gave Jess time to get in her car and pull out. She zoomed out of the gate. It opened automatically for her since it was unmanned and they’d set it to open. Ajax was yelling at Daisy as he ran for his bike. Next thing I knew, he was racing out of the compound after Jess. I looked at our group.

The guys were shaking their heads, and the women were rolling their eyes. Terror was the one to say what everyone must be thinking. “Goddamn bunnies, always causing shit. If we didn’t need them for my single brothers, I’d ban every one from the fucking compound. I hope Ajax can get his girl to listen.”

“She isn’t his girl,” I told them. The guys smirked.

“She will be if Ajax’s behavior is anything to go by. He never left her alone all night. And he tore Torch and Razor a new ass for touching her.” Savage laughed.

I tried to forget about Jessica and enjoy the rest of the night. Rebel must have seen I was worried, because he pulled me aside. “Baby, I’m sure Ajax found her and they’re talking. But text her and see if she’s okay. Otherwise, you’re going to worry all night.” I hugged him and quickly pulled out my phone to send her a text. It was about five minutes before she responded to say she was fine and she’d talk to me tomorrow. I decided to leave it alone and bid her goodnight.

Soon, the other ladies got me dancing again. I was feeling the hell out of the music when Rebel came to the dance with me again. He pulled me tight to him and I could feel his hard cock pressing into my stomach. He licked up my neck and nipped my ear.

“Baby, if I don’t get you alone soon so I can fuck you, I’m gonna be doing it here in front of God and everyone. You’re driving me insane, shaking that sexy ass. All I can think about is bending you over and sinking my cock in your tight pussy and fucking you until we collapse.”
