Chapter 15: Bull
I woke up the next morning to find Jocelyn snuggled into my chest. I had to smile. Last night was amazing. I’d never come so hard or long in my life. Every time with her was like that. And I’d gotten in her ass. While I’d had anal before, it had never been something I needed. With her, I had been feeling like I needed it. She had blown me away with how responsive she got. She could literally make me come with a glance.
I stretched. She scrunched up her face in her sleep. I laughed. She looked so damn cute. She opened her eyes. “Are you laughing at me?”
I nodded. “Yeah, you looked so cute, scrunching up your face like a little kitten when I moved. Come on, kitty, let’s get up and go downstairs to get breakfast in the restaurant. With any luck, I got you pregnant last night. I need to be sure my baby momma gets fed.”
She gasped then smacked me on the chest. “Don’t you dare call me your baby momma. Even if you did knock me up last night, I don’t want to hear that. I’m too damn old to be a baby momma.”
“No, you’re not. You’re younger than me. That makes you a baby momma.” I laughed as I rolled off the bed. She chased me into the bathroom. After a quick shower where she continued to smack me, we got dressed and headed down to breakfast. I texted Ace to see if they wanted to meet us or if they had already eaten. He responded they’d be down in a couple of minutes. As we waited on them, I looked around. Several of the guys and women were enjoying breakfast. Terror, Harley, and the kids walked up as we were waiting. We found a table big enough for all of us. By the time we were seated, Ace and Devyn had joined us. It was a buffet breakfast. In no time, we all had our plates and were eating. As we did, we talked.
“Terror, do you think while we’re in Dublin Falls, you could get Smoke to inject Jocelyn and Devyn with those trackers? I’d feel better if they both had one. There are too many weirdos around these days, and she already has one creep after her.”
I saw Terror raise his eyebrows and Harlow frown. “Sure. We can do it. Who’s the creep?” he asked. I went on to explain about Jonathan. After I did, I explained to her and Devyn what the tracker was. While I could see she wasn’t totally sold on the idea, I could see it was something she was considering as probably a good idea. I’d told her about some of the issues the women in Dublin Falls had had when they first came to the club.
After we talked about that, I asked about Ranger being able to run us through the concealed carry weapon—CCW—class. Terror said he’d check but he thought he was running one at their shooting range on Monday. We’d still be here. That would be perfect if he could. Finally, I talked about Harlow and her fighting skills. I could tell she was a little embarrassed with my praise. “Harlow, you should be proud of what you know and can do. Dev and I would love to learn more. You can never be too careful,” Jocelyn told her. She agreed.
When we all finished up, we went our separate ways. Harlow was going to help put the finishing touches on the wedding and see if Everly needed anything. Jocelyn told her and Terror she’d be glad to help with the kids if they needed me. They thanked her and said they’d let her know. We took a stroll around the grounds again and then went back to our rooms.
Jocelyn:
Before I knew it, it was time to get ready for the wedding. We went to Terror and Harlow’s room and helped him get the kids ready. He thanked us profusely. After making sure Devyn had everything she needed, Bull and I went back to our room. There I pampered myself with a long soak in the sunken tub, shaved and applied lotion to myself. Then I got started on the real work.
As I finished my hair, I did a final check of my face and outfit. I thought I looked good. The blue dress really did bring out my eyes and showed off my figure. I was about to put on my jewelry when Bull stopped me.
“No, darlin’, don’t put those on. Here.” He handed me a flat, velvet box. I felt my stomach flutter. It looked like a jeweler’s case. I slowly opened it, and I gasped. Inside was an amazing diamond and blue sapphire necklace, bracelet, and earrings. I swallowed and looked at Bull.
“Nick, I can’t accept these. It’s too much. I told you I didn’t need expensive jewelry when we went dress shopping.” He snorted.
“Yeah, I remember. But I don’t care. A woman as gorgeous as you, deserves something beautiful. It doesn’t compare to you, but it’ll have to do.” I went to argue, but he pulled me over to the bed and onto his lap.
“Listen, you seem to think you’re going to break me. You won’t, babe. I make a lot of money from the various club businesses and our investments. But that’s not all. I don’t advertise it, but I came from money. Lots of money. I was an only child. My parents were pissed when I went into the service, and they could never understand why I joined an MC. But they did love me. They died right before Harley was born. They left me everything they had.”
I swallowed. “Honey—” He shushed me.
“Baby, how much money do you think I have between my bank accounts and investments?” I thought about it.
“I don’t know, maybe two million. I really don’t have any idea.” He laughed.
“Baby, I’m worth seventy-five million, give or take.” My heart stopped. I started to hyperventilate. No wonder Harlow was worried about her dad. I hoped she wasn’t thinking I was after him for his money! “Hey, take a deep breath. I didn’t tell you to scare you. I just want you to know, there’s nothing to worry about on the money front. I can more than afford this.”
It took me a little while to settle down. When I did, I grasped his face. “Nick, I had no idea. I don’t want you ever to think I’m with you for your money. I love you.” He smiled.
“I know you’re not with me for my money. Now, let’s put on this jewelry.” I didn’t argue. He helped me latch the necklace and bracelet. I had to admit they looked amazing with the dress. I checked him out. He looked amazing in his tan pants, boat shoes and pale blue dress shirt. He was dressed like the guys in the wedding party since he was giving Everly away.
He looked me over. “There is no one as beautiful or sexy as you, Jocelyn. No one. You’ll put everyone to shame. Stay close.” I laughed and thanked him. He always made me feel good with his compliments. Before we headed down, he pulled out another slim box.
“Do you want to see what I got Everly?” I eagerly nodded. He opened it up to show a breathtaking hair comb with light blue sapphires, green gems, and white diamonds. “These are her wedding colors. I get all the girls one when they get married. I started it with Harley and just continued,” he told me.
I pulled him close. “Nick, you’re amazing. No wonder I love you. That is truly beautiful. She’ll love it. You really are the dad to the club.”
He grinned. “Well, you know what that means. If I’m the dad, that makes you the mom since you’re my old lady.” I shook my head and slapped his arm. We met Devyn and Ace downstairs. He was dressed in his best black jeans, boots, cut and then a nice dress shirt. Dev was in the dress she’d bought the day when we all went shopping. She looked so stunning in it. Ace couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Before he headed to the bridal suite, Bull made sure we got seated. I watched as more and more people arrived. There were over two hundred at the wedding. It was outside in a wonderful area. All too soon, we heard the music start. The whole wedding party was awe inspiring. Tears filled my eyes as they exchanged their vows. You could see how much they loved each other.
In no time at all, the ceremony was over and we were all milling around talking until it was time for the reception. Bull and Ace introduced us to so many people, my head was swimming. The guys were all flattering and telling us how magnificent we were and offering to take us off the guys’ hands. I loved to see them tease Bull. He kept his hand on me at all times. More than a few received frowns and threats.
A few hours later, the reception was in full swing. The food had been eaten, the dancing was happening, and the cake had been cut. The bride and groom had snuck off to start their honeymoon. I left Bull talking with Reaper and Maniac from the Iron Punishers to go to the bathroom. Ace and Devyn were dancing.
