“But it’s in perfect condition,” Dana whispered back. “I don’t think it's going to need to be worked on at all.”
Dana’s tone was playful, and her smile hadn’t dissipated. Rux shrugged in an animated fashion, then lifted his hand to rub his chin.
“Well,” he said quietly. “I think we could make it better with a few modifications.”
Dana grabbed hold of his bicep, clutching with excitement, her eyes as round as the full moon. She wasn’t used to men, or anyone really, being that generous with her. But she gave him a small, almost imperceivable nod of approval.
Rux stuck his hand up into the air like lightning.
“Six hundred fifty thousand,” he said firmly.
Heads rolled over in his direction, then almost immediately shifted to Dana. She barely noticed again, listening as other people tried to outbid him, but Rux kept raising his hand confidently, feeling Dana digging her nails into his arm every time the price shot up.
Eventually, Rux won the car, and they were surrounded by polite applause. Dana covered her mouth and then looked at him with the most ecstatic and beautiful expression of appreciation he had ever seen.
He thought about wrapping his hand around her neck and pulling her in for a deep kiss. But he knew he couldn’t. If she wanted to do it, that was fine, but he wasn’t going to push her anymore.
They walked hand-in-hand to pick up the car after the auction. Rux could tell that Dana’s skin was still vibrating, the high from the auction still coursing through her veins. When the attendants handed him the keys, he held them in the air and shot her his most devilish smirk.
She looked at the keys, then looked back at him, then back at the keys, then frowned.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
Rux shook the keys at her.
“Want to go for a spin?” he said playfully.
Dana ripped her hands from between his fingers, wrinkling her nose in a mocking gesture. It was still so adorable to Rux.
She sprinted toward the car and opened the front door. The interior was a dark brown leather, and she traced her fingers over the stitching. It was in the same sensual way that she had traced her fingers over his Shelby Cobra before their first date.
Rux stood there, admiring her passion, her form, trying not to imagine what else she could touch in that way.
“This is fucking incredible,” Dana whispered.
Rux walked around to the passenger side. He opened the door and planted himself down.
“Get in,” he said with a smile.
Dana climbed in slowly, those lovely legs blessing his sight as she sat in the driver's seat, settling her bum in and strapping on the seat belt. It stretched over her breasts, emphasizing their excessive plumpness. Having them press lightly against the steering wheel made Rux want to lose his mind.
She turned to him with a naughty look. He raised his eyebrows in response.
“Do you think you’re ready for this?” she asked.
Rux buckled up his seat belt and then used both hands to hold onto the back of the seat.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been ready for anything with you,” he said with wide eyes.
Dana let out a maniacal laugh as she slid the keys into the ignition, then delicately turned on the engine. It purred loudly, and Dana rolled her eyes into the back of her head, beginning to laugh that sweet laugh again.
“I can’t believe you fucking bought this!” she yelled over the roar of the engine.
She put the car into drive and then set off into the night. The engine cracked and snapped like a pleasant thunder roll, and Rux had never seen Dana so happy. He wanted to always be the one to put that look of absolute rapture on her lovely face.
