For the first time in a long time, Rux yearned. He yearned to take her by the waist and pull her into him, lingering over her lips and inhaling her scent before taking her with his mouth.

He knew that it wasn’t just lust but something far more monumental.

She stretched up her arms as the yacht moved closer and closer to shore. She tilted her head back to stare up at the sky and a light dusting of stars. Her neck exposed itself as a remarkable marble statue.

“It’s a strange concept, isn’t it?” Dana asked.

Rux stepped closer to her with his hands in his pockets. She was a fragrant goddess, the sweet scent swaying on the wind and only tantalizing him further.

“What do you mean?” he said.

“Matchmaking,” Dana said, still looking up at the sky. “It all sounds so cliche and hunky-dory, like a kid's film.”

She tilted her head down and smiled at him, sending a shot through his heart like a fiery arrow. Rux just hoped it wasn’t poisoned.

“It seems to be working for me, though,” she said with that half-grin.

Rux smiled back, still feeling like the schoolboy with a massive crush.

They exchanged numbers with their business cards while Dana wrote down her number on the back.

“Give me a call,” she said confidently.

She walked away from him, and Rux already felt the pang of loneliness take him over again. He never had anyone to miss before.

Plus, the way her hips hypnotized him as she swung them was the cherry on top of his growing desire.
