Chapter Seventeen
Two weeks passed, and she felt better by the day. Her emotions had also grown exponentially toward Cesar, and she couldn’t see her life without him now.
He brought her to his office every day during the week. She spent most of her time in his office, helping him with a wide array of things like organizing and filing or looking online for furniture for the house.
She spent the other time with Sienna and Nia and a few other women like her that she’d met and liked. They would eat lunch together or watch movies in the afternoon. She didn’t care what they did, she just had fun being with them.
What she was worried about was the fact Cesar hadn’t tried to touch her. He hugged and kissed her and held her at night in bed, but it hadn’t gone past that, and she was worried he didn’t desire her as she did him.
Sienna nudged her with her shoulder. “Hey, woman. What’s going on? You’ve been quiet all day.”
She looked at the other women in the room sitting on the floor with crossed legs and was embarrassed to talk about it.
Nia grabbed her hand. “Come on. We’re here for you. We littles have to stick together and help each other.”
She nodded and exhaled. “He … he won’t touch me like … you know.”
Sienna smiled, and the others looked sympathetic. Then she patted her leg. “Sometimes, you need to take the step.”
“Oh, I don’t know…”
“No, listen,” Sienna said. “I have to tell you that sometimes these guys are … idiots.”
They all laughed.
“No, seriously.” Sienna looked around at the other women. “Haven’t we all had to nudge our guys once in a while?”
They all nodded.
“You just need to tell him what you want,” Kinley, another little, said.
“Oh, I don’t think I can do that,” Amber said.
“You could just take off your clothes and walk around in front of him naked,” Brylee said.
Amber sputtered and then laughed. She opened her mouth but was interrupted by a voice behind them.
“Hey, girls. Are you about ready?” Eli, Kinley’s daddy, said.
Amber turned to see all the men standing there and wondered how much they heard.
“What are you all blushing for?” Kane asked. “Is my Sienna starting trouble again?
Sienna gasped next to her and scowled at her daddy. “Why do I always get blamed?”
“Because you usually the one…” Nia started to say.
“Hey! bite me,” Sienna interrupted her.
“Let’s go, Sienna. I think we have some talking to do.”
Amber heard her sigh, and there was a twinkle in her eyes and a smug smile on her face.
“Do you see how it’s done?” Sienna murmured. “Now, I’m going to help you out.”
Amber scrambled up when Sienna started walking away. “Wait, what does that mean?”
Sienna turned and grinned at her before she mouthed, you’ll thank me later. She turned to face the group of guys. “It wasn’t me this time, Daddy. It was Amber.”
