Chapter One
Travis sat in his office going over contracts, but he thought he should head home to Mia because that was where his mind was. What was the big secret was between the littles? The daddies hadn’t been able to get any information out of them, which was peculiar and worrisome. It had been going on for a few weeks, and the fact that not one of them had blabbed made every daddy concerned.
He’d been on the phone with Darian, Kane, Caleb, and Patrick already that morning, and none of them could come up with anything that would cause this behavior.
“Mr. Forrester, there is a Mr. Black to see you,” his secretary said through the intercom.
A smile spread across his face. It was about time. He hadn’t seen his friend, Trey, in over three years because of the type of work he did overseas. “Send him in.”
Travis was halfway across the room when his friend came through the door. He pulled him into his arms, and they pounded on each other’s back in a show of male affection.
“Trey, it’s damn good to see you finally. Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
Trey grinned. “Because you know how slow the government moves. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to come through so soon.”
“I’m just glad you’re home. You can stay this time, right?”
“Yeah. I’m done with that part of my life. I did it longer than I ever thought I would and made great money, but I’m glad to be back in the States.”
“I hope you’re planning on staying with Nia and me until you settle a bit.”
“I’m about as settled as I’m going to get, man.” Trey laughed. “I came to beg you for a job. I’ve got enough money to live on for ten lifetimes, but I’ll be bored to death within a week if I don’t have something to do.”
Travis sputtered and then laughed. “Goddamn, man. You know you don’t have to beg. I’ve wanted you to come on board with us since we started. You’ll bring in a new sector for the business for us. I’ve already talked to the partners, some you already know, and they’re thrilled to have you as a partner. You’d head your own division.”
“Hell, you’re throwing me right in.”
“Fuck, yeah. I’m not letting you go.”
Trey chuckled.
“Sit down.” Travis indicated a chair on the other side of his desk before sitting on his own. “Did you come here right from the airport?”
“Yeah.” Trey relaxed back in his seat.
Travis could see the fatigue on his friend’s face. “How about we head home?”
“I’m not taking you away from anything?”
Travis shook his head. “No. I’ll take what I need home with me. Besides, I’m a bit worried about Nia.”
“I’m anxious to meet her. We haven’t really had time to talk since you met her.”
“You’ll love her. There’s a part to our relationship I’ve got to tell you about.”
“Hell, as long as it’s not hurting anyone, I’m cool with whatever.”
“Have you ever heard of a Big/little relationship?”
“I vaguely remember hearing something about it years ago. What is it?”
“Nia isn’t like the modern women you meet today…”
“Thank God,” Trey growled.
Travis smiled. “She needs me to make certain decisions for her. She and girls like her don’t adapt very well on their own.”
“So you’re saying she’s a full-time submissive?”
