“Juice, please.”

“My kind of girl.” Rev set his plate on the table and grabbed two glasses from the cabinet. He filled them with juice and handed one to Hallie, and set the second by his plate.

“This looks wonderful,” she said, taking a bite of bacon.

“I told you I could make one hell of an omelet.”

“I see that.” She cut a piece of the omelet and took a bit. It melted in her mouth. It was filled with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. She was in heaven. “This is so damn good.”

“I figured I better pack you full of protein so you can keep up with me. It may be some time before this hurricane lets up, and we can free your Jeep.” Rev winked at her.

“I guess I better eat up then. I want to make sure I have my strength and wits about me. I’d hate to be the slacker,” she joked.

“I don’t know, love. I’m not sure you have it in you to be a slacker. You give as well as you take. It’s one of the things about you that I like so much.”

“Is that so?” Hallie tried to keep the goofy-ass grin off her face and failed miserably. It wasn’t often that she had a guy, and not just any guy, tell her that she was good in bed. After years of disappointment, she had honestly thought there was something wrong with her. It was good to know that a total hottie like Rev thought she was great in the sack.

“It is. Now eat up, so I can have my way with you again!”

“When you put it like that … how can I possibly refuse?”

What was it about this man that made Hallie forget everything but sex? She had never been this damn horny in her entire freaking life. It didn’t matter how many times they had sex or how many times he made her climax … she wanted more.

“A penny for your thoughts, love?” Rev asked.

“Ha-ha. You probably do not want to know,” she said as a faint blush worked its way up her neck and quickly spread across her cheeks.

“I’m assuming by that beautiful blush that your mind took a turn straight to the gutter. Am I wrong?” He sat back in his chair and looked at her expectantly.

“I … I was just thinking about what you said,” she stammered.

“About what?” he asked with an arched eyebrow.

“About how just seeing me gets you hard.”

“Care to elaborate?”

“Well, I kind of have the same problem.”

“I get you hard and keep you that way?” He smirked.

“No … not like that. I mean … look, you’re hot, okay. Pretty damn fine, actually, and just being across this table from you. Well, my mind just keeps replaying all the naughty things we’ve been doing.”

“So, you basically want to jump my bones again?”

Rev had the cheesiest possible smirk plastered to his face. It was almost as if he was proud of himself for turning her into some sort of cockwhore.

“Yeah. Pretty much.” She sighed.

“You say that like it’s a bad thing,” Rev teased her.

“No. It’s not a bad thing. I just don’t know what to do with it.” That was the thing. They’d had what seemed like nonstop sex for the last eighteen hours or so, and she was ready to jump him again. And clearly, more sex was on his mind. Hard cock and all. But was it okay for her to just jump him and demand sex? It wasn’t like they were a couple or anything. She had no idea what the rules of engagement were, so to speak.

“What do you mean by that?” He looked just as confused as she felt.

“Well, I’m not trying to rush anything or push anything. I also want you to know that I’ve been having a helluva lotta fun, but I don’t know what the rules are. Is it okay to want to throw you on the table and ride you till the cows come home? Or is that frowned upon? I’ve never done anything like this before. So, I’m not sure where to go with it. What’s acceptable and what’s not. Does that make sense?”

She had thrown her cards on the table. Now it was his turn to show his hand and let the cards fall where they may.
