‘Have you asked her about that?’
‘Not yet.’
‘OK,’ he said. ‘You have a crime scene with inconsistent broken glass and you have an easily explained time discrepancy. Neither ofthese things make Estelle the killer. But you arrested her anyway. You seem like a bright cop – what aren’t you telling me?’
