Rory smiled up at him, and he couldn’t stop himself from glancing down at her lips and then back into her eyes.

“Wilder?”

“You can slap me later,” he murmured as he cupped her face in his hands, lowered his head, pressed his lips to hers, and it shot right through him. He groaned against her lips as he forced them open wider and slid his tongue into her mouth. When she moaned, he was sure his dick shot up in less than a second. He moved his hands down to her hips and tugged her tight against him. He was sure she could feel his hard cock against her.

He was about to lift his lips from hers when her arms slid around his neck. She plastered her body against his and moved her tongue into his mouth.Holy hell!He needed this woman more than air.

Wilder slowly lifted his lips and stared into her beautiful eyes.

“I’m not sure this is a good idea,” he murmured.

“I’m not either,” she whispered.

“So, what do you want to do about it?”

She smiled up at him, stepped back, turned to the door, and locked it. Then she took his hand and led him out of the kitchen, down the hallway, and into her bedroom.

“This is what I want to do about it. I’ve been attracted to you from the first, but I didn’t like the beard.”

He chuckled. “Well, I’m glad I shaved it.”

“You are so much more handsome without it. Why would you want to cover that face?”

“Long story.” He lowered his head and kissed her lips again. “I want you, Rory. More than I’ve ever wanted another woman. The sexual tension between us is killing me. Tell me you feel the same.”

“You’re in my bedroom, aren’t you?”

“Yes. I want you so much.”

“Well, the bed is right there, Wilder.”

“I see that.” He picked her up, carried her to the bed, and placed her down in the center. “I’m glad it’s a king-size since I plan to use every inch. I’m also glad to see you didn’t make it.”

“I’m too lazy to make the bed at five in the morning. Now, quit talking and come here,” she said with a grin.

Wilder blew out a laugh. “Yes, ma’am.”

He lay down beside her, lowered his lips to hers, and kissed her. He lost it when she moaned and wrapped her arms around his waist. She pulled his T-shirt from his jeans, and he broke the kiss so she could lift it over his head. Then he put his lips back on hers. He wasn’t sure he could kiss her enough.

She scraped her fingernails down his chest, and he sucked in a breath. Her hand moved to his belt, unhooked it, unsnapped his jeans, and yanked the zipper down.

“Holy shit, I’m glad you didn’t catch something,” he said and grinned when she laughed.

“I would have kissed it and made it better,” she whispered, then nipped his neck with her teeth.

“Is that right? Well, hell, darlin’, pull that zipper up and try again.”

Rory burst out laughing. “Later. I need you too much right now. It’s been a long time for me, Wilder.”

“I’m sure you haven’t forgotten a thing,” he murmured above her lips, then took them in a hard kiss.

He moved his hand to the belt on her robe, untied it, and spread it open. Raising his head, he looked into her eyes, then down to her beautiful breasts, and had to swallow hard.

“God, you are beautiful,” he whispered as he ran the tip of his finger around her nipple, watched it harden, and looked back into her eyes.

“So are you,” she said.

He grinned. “You didn’t think so before I shaved.”
