Graham wiped a hand down his face. “Not yet.”

“All right. I’ll wait for you. But I’m having a few more guys on patrol tonight.”

“That might be a good idea. Thank you.”

Graham showed him out with the tray and closed the door again.

“Okay, come on out, Faith.”

She peeked around the corner and then walked out with her arms wrapped around the papers.

There was another knock on the door.

“Oh, for fuck’s sake.” He waved her back in and opened it.

Alastair walked in with something over his arm. “I thought we could put this on her, and we’d walk her up to the room. If I have my arm around her, they’ll think it’s Beth because they’re the same size and have dark hair.”

“Great idea. I also have more to tell you.”

Alastair snorted. “Is this because I called you boring last week?”

Graham chuckled. “No.” He walked over to his desk and shut everything down. “Come out, Faith. It’s just Alastair.”

“Oh, wow, thanks,” Alastair said sarcastically.

Graham grinned.

They both helped her into the long sweater, covering up as much of her as possible.

“Alastair is going to put his arm around you, so don’t freak out.”

She nodded and grabbed the front of the sweater to hold over the papers and pencils.

The men took it slow, talked, and laughed a few times to look normal. He breathed a sigh of relief when they closed the bedroom door, and Alastair dropped his arm.

“How about you go take a shower? Alastair brought some clothes for you to wear to bed and tomorrow.”

“I’d like that. Thank you.”

“I already put an outfit in the bathroom on the counter,” Alastair said.

Graham showed her where everything was and then closed the door to give her some privacy. For some reason, he didn’t even want that between them. He waited until the bathroom door closed and then told his brother everything Faith had seen.

“What the fuck?” Alastair said. “How are they getting through Tony?”

“I don’t know.”

Alastair paced in front of him. “We have to tell him about this.”

“Can it wait until the meeting tomorrow? He’s putting out extra guards.”

“Yeah. It’s going to be a hell of a meeting. I got a hold of the brothers, and they can all be there.”

“Okay. Good,” Graham said.

“I’m going to take off.” Alastair smacked his shoulder. “Don’t worry, brother. We’ll get her taken care of.”

“I know.” Graham locked the door behind him and then kneaded the back of his neck where a ball of tension sat.
