Unknown Number: Are you happy, wild thing?
Vince. He does this. I block his number, and he makes contact from a new one.
Pam: Very. I’m pregnant.
He doesn’t reply. Not that I expected him to. Nor do I want him to. I hope he finds what he’s looking for.
I put my phone on the nightstand and tiptoe down the hall to look in on Link and Connor. There’s just something endearing and sexy about seeing my hard, tough as nails man with our son in his lap reading him a bedtime story.
My husband senses my presence as I watch the two of them from the doorway with a hand on my stomach. He smiles at me and my insides go all warm and melty.
“He’s asleep,” his deep voice vibrates in the space between us. Careful not to wake Connor he closes the book he was reading from, placing it on the table next to him. He shifts Connor to one arm and puts him to bed. The lamp is switched off, and he stalks toward me with a predatory hunger in his gaze.
I start to run but he catches me quickly, hooking an arm around me gently, holding my back to his front. His lips meet my ear. “I’m starvin’, babe.” The edges of his teeth skim the shell.
“I already made dinner. I’m ready for bed.”
“Me too.” His palm slides up my nightie to my breast and warmth pools where I crave him the most. “Want that tasty little pussy for dessert,” he says, and I shiver in anticipation.

Holy is his road name, but there is nothing saintly about him.

What started as a simple assignment became an obsession.
Hazel’s my Prez’s niece. He tasked me with tracking her down.
Falling for her was never part of the plan.
I’m not taking no for an answer. She will be mine.
If I have to kidnap her to prove my point I will.
She belongs to me.

I’ve always been on my own. Nowhere to call home. No family to call my own.
I don’t answer to anyone. Especially not a bossy biker who claims my family ordered him to find me.
Refusing him was mistake number one.
Number two was attempting to seduce my way out of the situation.
I’ve been taken by the biker, but I don’t know if I want him to let me go.
