Chapter 9: Becca

We walked back to the hotel laughing and chatting. To a casual eye, the mess of nerves in my belly would seem non-existent. But despite how normal I seemed, my mind was racing at a hundred miles a minute. Every step we took towards the hotel seemed heavy to me, like the air was growing thicker and there was nothing I could do about it. I traced the source of my nerves to Gareth's arm resting casually against the small of my back as we walked.

An overwhelming heat seemed to move through his arm, penetrating through my clothes and radiating through my body. With every step I took, my heart seemed to revolt, as if it was trying to jump out of my chest. As we approached the doors of the hotel, my mouth felt dry, and my palms sweaty.

I looked over at him and saw the same desire reflected in his eyes.  I quickly looked away, feeling almost scorched by the heat in his gaze. His hand around my waist tightened as we stepped into the elevator, sending shivers down my spine. I inhaled sharply as he seemed to invade my space, being everywhere at the same time. I looked up to meet his gaze, this time, he was too close for me to look away. And even if I could have, I wasn’t sure that I would. As my heartbeat grew fast enough that it felt like I could hear it, I ran my hands over his chest, feeling his sculpted body without a second thought.

"You're playing with fire," he warned. Words that I was too far gone to heed. The amusement on his face was contrasted by the low, husky tone of his voice. His hand cupped my face gently, like I was a priceless artifact, before tilting my head upwards.

Our breath intermingled as he drew close to me, an unspoken question in his eyes. I answered by meeting him halfway. Our lips met like magnets to iron, and I soon lost myself in the sensation of him, anchoring myself on his broad shoulders as I leaned against him, like I was soft and boneless. He kissed me like I was the last sip of water in a drought. So thoroughly. I felt nothing and everything all at once, as his tongue and hands carried out a double assault on my senses, rendering my mind blank.

The sharp ding of the elevator brought us back to our senses, and Gareth didn’t give me the time to worry about being so passionate in a public place. I was thrown off guard for a second when he scooped me into his arms and carried me out of the elevator. I buried my face in his shirt as he walked down the hallway and towards our room.

The bang of the door was punctuated by my low gasp as he placed me down and pulled me closer to kiss me once more. This time, our clothes get peeled off quickly. There was an urgency in the air that I didn’t feel until the door closed, and he lay me on the bed. It took over like a swift, contagious thing, and I soon found myself letting out a low whimper as Gareth's finger first rubbed my clit before dipping into me. He started slow, hoisting my left leg over his shoulder as he finger-fucked me. I gasped as I looked into his gray eyes. He maintained eye contact for every excruciating second, letting me dangle on the edge of ecstasy. The climax hit me hard, I felt my legs shaking as I rode the wave. Before the pleasure faded, Gareth re-positions himself above me and entered me with one swift thrust.

I couldn’t hold back my moans as he thrust into me over and over again. I could feel his hips against the sides of my thighs as he moved.

"Don't hold back." I heard his hoarse voice as he sank into me completely, his breath fanning over my chest, teasing my already sensitive nipples. He paused to flick his tongue against my right breast, and I couldn’t stop myself from arching my back, pushing myself closer to him.

I climaxed hard, losing control of my body as waves of pleasure washed over me. As I climaxed, he continued to thrust into me, sending me even further over the edge. His muscles tightened and his thrusts became jerky as he came with a low groan. We lay there, panting for a few minutes before Gareth turned to me once more, holding me tight as we cuddled.

I couldn’t help but smile as I enjoyed the warmth of his arms. The heat from earlier wasn’t gone, but it was coexisting with a silent tenderness that I hadn’t felt before with him. A sense of anticipation crept over me, andI couldn’t help but imagine what our future would look like.
